The smell of alcohol intoxicated the air. The smell of it alone made Sophia gag, the people helped of course. She laid stiff against the wall and Jack was to her side, Jaeden had ran off someplace to socialize. Sophia wanted to do the same but she knew that no one here would want to talk to her so she laid still on the wall.

Jack just thought, he thought of everything really. Why was he even at the party. Maybe for Finn, maybe Finn would be the answer. Finn seemed like a relatively emotional person. Maybe he could make Jack feel...anything.

"This party blows" Sophia yelled over the speakers which blasted the hottest hits. Jack let a shrug roll off his shoulders as he glanced around the room in search of a curly headed boy.

Finn had had his eyes glued to Jack's figure for a majority of the night. No matter how many people tried get him in the bedroom upstairs he just shrugged them off and continued to admire the boy. A slap to the top of his back caused him to loose his trace on the boy. Behind him stood Chosen.

"Man look at the crowd this is a blast, but there is one problem" Finn gave a look that urged Chosen to continue. "You are here admiring your lover boy, I wasn't sure that kid had any emotion-" "Go ruin someone else's night asshole" Finn snapped as the turned to face the boy again.

Chosen let a laugh as he expected Finn to turn and laugh it off, which he wasn't doing. After a few moments Chosen caught on and let his feet take control, leading him to the annoyed redhead. "Hey want a drink" Chosen questioned as he stuffed his hands  awkwardly into his front pockets.

Sophia looked from the group of people beside to Chosen. Anger crashed through her like waves as Chosen shifted from left to right. "I am actually headed home" Sophia yelled over a rapper that blasted through the speakers. "Let me give you a ride,I refuse to take no as an answer" Chosen demanded as he gave Sophia a soft smile, half way convincing her to agree.

"I-I" Sophia began before being pulled toward the door, leaving Jack to think to himself. The cool air send a breeze a breeze through her short hair, a half smile formed on her face. But it fell as soon as it formed. She stopped her body which caused a tug at her arm.

"My house is like two blocks" Sophia lied as she looked toward the ground,she had always done that when she lied. When she was ten and stole a pair of gloves her mother caught her red-handed with the trick. "You look down when you lie" Chosen had already brought her to the passenger side of his mother's white SUV. The door was pulled open, begging Sophia to shut up and get inside.

"Fine, but don't try anything funny" The girl's words were like venom as she found herself falling into the beige leather. Chosen couldn't hide the smile that formed on his face as he moved around the car to the driver side.

The ride was still, tension filled the air so there was no room for words. After ten minutes Chosen finally decided to break it. "Why didn't I seen you at the pizza place" The question caused Sophia to let a soft scoff to escape her lips. "Yeah I am not a fan" Sophia informed. Her attention was drawn on the streetlights that poorly like the streets. "The music" Chosen asked. "No the people, you piss me off" She shrugged.

"What did I do to you" Chosen directed his attention to Sophia. "Excuse me" Sophia's eyes trailed from the window to the annoyed boy. "You have called me a slut, insulted me, laughed at Mille and Sadie when they insult me, what do you expect me to do beg to be your friend because you think you're something special" Sophia snapped, tears pooled in her water line. She blinked them away as she steadied her breathing "Well I'm sorry, but I pass" Sophia snapped as she turned back to the window. "Sophia" "Just don't Chosen, I don't want to hear it" Sophia noticed she was in front of her home. She was eager to leave, hoping to never be alone with him again.

Her hand snaked hand around the handle and harshly pulled, but the door didn't budge. "Unlock the door" Sophia turned to Chosen who just shook his head. "Listen Sophia, I'm sorry about that but I've changed, and I like you, a lot. I want you to put the past behind and give me a chance" Sophia heard the lock pop, signalling she was free.  She pushed herself out of the car as tears fell down her rosy cheeks. "You don't deserve it" She sobbed out as she slammed the door behind her. She wiped tears while she walked to the the cement walkway that was in front of her home.

Chosen's hands found themselves smashing onto the steering wheel. "I'm trying" Was the only thought in mind.

"I'm gonna do it" Finn told himself as moved toward the direction of Jack. Anxiety flooded his insides as he approached the quiet boy. "Wanna go for a walk" Finn questioned, bringing Jack's attention to him. Jack just let a small nod, wrapping his arm around Finn's. Finn lead them away from the drunken crowd and to the back patio which had been cleared out.

"Listen-" Finn began before a pair of lips were placed on his. Jack tugged away, he didn't feel it. "You're useless" Jack mumbled as he turned away from Finn. "Wait" A tug at his wrist made Jack stop and turn back to look at Finn's hurt eyes. "I am completely numb, I thought kissing you would make me feel something, anything" Jack informed. Jack turned away and began to head through the door, but was stopped.

"Make me a deal, give me three months to make you feel something" "Why" Jack turned back to face Finn. "I just happen to take a liking in you" Finn informed as he pushed his hand out in front of him. "Deal" Jack pushed his hand out to meet Finns larger hand. "You win and I'm yours" this caused a smile to form on his face. "I win I die" Jack turned away, leaving Finn speechless.
