I sat on my bed, crying. My eyes red and puffy. I looked at the piles of papers on my bed and sighed. Im a senior high school student and work is getting really stressful and tough. I needed a break. I needed a snack.

I got into my car and drove to the nearest walmart. I was so stressed to the point that i felt like crying for no reason. I needed someone right now, but no one was around.

I walked to the candy isle and i wasnt watching where i was going when i bumped into someone and fell down. I gave way to tears, i started crying. Im already handling too much stress.

"oh my god im so sorry" a boy with curly hair said as he held out his hand.

"its okay" i sniffled. I took his hand and helped myself up.

"no really i feel bad. let me pay for you!" He said.

"no its fine you dont have to" i said, trying to end the conversation.

"are you going to let me win this?" i said.

"nope." he said.

"okay pretty boy, i want gushers." i said as i grabbed the box and he smiled.

"whats your name?" He asked me.

"y/n" i said, trying not to blush.

"y/n. thats a beautiful name. im jack. is everything alright?" He asked, stepping closer to me.

"its just school. im stressed and i have so much to do" I said.

"if you want, i can help you!" He said, excitedly.

"no, i guess im-"

"no. let me help you. please its all i can make up for." He begged.

"okay fine pretty boy." I smirked and rolled my eyes.

"you just gonna keep calling me that?" He asks.

"maybe, pretty boy!" I said.

Jack paid for my candy and i took him to my house. I took him to my room and he helped me with my math homework and i understood most of it.

I sat down by my desk as jack sat next to me.

"i ordered pizza. you okay with that?" He asked.

"yeah im fine." i said as i wrote my equations.

I looked up and noticed Jack staring at me as he licked his lips. I stared back and smiled.

"whats up pretty boy?" I said, smirking.

"nothing, pretty girl" He said, leaning in as he placed his hand on my neck and pulled me in for a kiss. We smiled in between kisses, knowing that this was the start of something new.
