"jack? you wanna get ready anytime soon baby?" I asked, putting my earrings on.

i only heard a soft groan and a shift in the bed.

"cmon sleepyhead. were going by family." I said. Today we are going over by Jack's family for a picnic and games. The boys' families are also going to be there so its going to be a fun night.

"just five more minutes." Jack says, in his sexy morning voice.

I leave the bathroom of Jack and I's room and go to where he was sleeping.

I grabbed his face and moved it, and stared into his eyes. I leaned in and kissed his lips to make sure he wakes up this time.

I let go and pull my face away just a little so that out faces were still close together.

"cmon ramen wake up" I said as i kissed his forehead and walked back to the bathroom.

I put on my black crop top and red skirt and put on my wedges and walked out. Jack was getting his hair ready.

"oh my gosh y/n you look hot" Jack says as i finish my last makeup touches

"get yourself ready and maybe i could say the same buddy" I yelled as i walked down the hall to check on the boys.

"guys are you getting ready?" I walked in to see jonah on his phone on the bed.

"yeah corbyns in the shower and im ready." He said.

"jonah put some colors on! cmon lets go! this is family we have to look presentable" I said as i walked away.

"zach? daniel? are you guys getting ready?" I asked as i walked i to their room. Zach was fixing his hair and daniel was freshening up.

"yeah were almost done. everyone else?" Zach asked.

"corbyns the only one in the shower. we have to leave here by 11:45" i said as i walked away.

I opened the door to the house as i stepped in and was greeted by many family members. The whole family greeted me and the boys as the rock music was playing.

"y/n can you help me with the burgers?" Mrs. Stanford asked.

"of course! what should i do?" I asked.

I helped her with the burgers, mixing the meat and the vegetables and i was placing them in little patties and onto a plate.

"okay! ill hand these over to Mr. Herron so that he can get the grill ready" i added.

I handed the burgers to him as i sat down on a lawn chair in the backyard. The warm California weather made everyone feel good and there was no one here in a bad mood.

"yn!" Jack yelled "wanna get in the pool?"

"does it look like i have a bathing suit on noodle head?" I asked, admiring his beauty as he was playing in the pool with his cousins and friends.

"aw come on!" He whined.

"jack we didnt even eat yet! cmon get out so we can eat!" I told him as i stood up and placed plates around the picnic table.

Jack got out of the pool soaking wet and walked towards me.

"jack robert avery i will smack you if you even lay a finger on me."

"do it!" I hear Jonah yell.

Before i could reply, Jack pulled me into his arms and got me all wet.

"jack! just wait till we get home!" I yelled as jack kept laughing.

"youre lucky i love you jack" i said as i grabbed his face and he grabbed my waist and propped it against his waist. I pulled his face into mine and kissed his lips.

"cmon lovebirds. we got food to eat" Mrs Herron said.

I was stuffed with with food and i was laying on the grass in the late afternoon while Jack was in the pool.

I felt my back get wet and i turned around to see Jack with a water gun in his hand.

"oh youre on. hold on" I said as i grabbed a water gun.

"ava! you got some swim suits on you?" I asked.

Ava is about my body size so im sure she would have some on her.

I put the suit on and stepped out and looked for jack. He wasnt anywhere to be seen. I turned around to the side of the house and saw jack, back to me, talking to a family member. I did a move with my head to signal to her that she needs to move over. As soon as she moved over, jack turned back and i shot him with the gun, spraying water all over his body.

I ran out to the front, looking behind me a couple of times so make sure where jack was. Eventually he stops and i stop, getting ready to dodge the shots.

"im gonna win anyways y/l/n"

"not if i get you first avery!" I replied. I lifted my gun and shot jack with water as i ran back to dodge his shot.

"Ayo Jonah! get in this!" i hear jack yell.

Oh shoot. I thought to myself.

I had a plan. I peered over the corner and spotted Jack. He was standing in the front, watching around to see where i am.

I exited the gate from the side, making sure he wouldnt see me. I entered the front of the house, planning out my perfect shot.

I ran to the back door and ran and ran and before you could even say Why Dont We, I pushed Jack into the pool, me following him.

"dang y/n! i see you!" Jack said.

"told you jack!"

"tonight was so fun" i said as i lay in the bed with jack after showering.
