"So about the job-" i bit my lips. Why did i volunteer to participate in this? ugh!. The sudden regrets strike over me.

"You're serious bout that right?" she sounds a little disappointed like she already smell the regretion upon me.

"Oh yeah i'm serious, beside i don't have any other things to do either" i comfort her. Yeah what a great comfortion.

"Ok thanks i hope you won't change your mind that fast and by the way i'm Lucy" she let out a sigh of disbelief.

"Oh, so Miss lucy, whats that job is all about? since the girl just now refused so much to work with you back" i ask her.

"The job is actually to be Ace's assistant and like she said 'working with a monster' but he's not that bad actually he's kind it is just he don't want to show it to anyone" she explained.

"Oh i hope he could be nice enough one day, who knows he has his dark past that makes he like that". What did i said?. I don't know him why did i acted like one.

I let out a small laugh to cover my awkwardness. Crap!

I guess i just forgotten about Sally. She's been waiting for me that long. I turn my gaze to the table where we're seated before i left her.

She looks annoyed. I'm done

How could i be so forgetful?!. She must be angry rn.

"Casey whats wrong?" Lucy sudden question after she saw distraction on my face.

"Nothing" i answered her "i think i need to go now, my friends is waiting for me" i continue.

"Oh ok but don't you mind letting me have your phone number?" she casually ask "since we already became a working partner" she finished.

"Sure" i speak while giving her my number and walk away after left a goodbye.

"Sally" i said cheerfully to coax her.

"What?" she replied not looking to me.

"Okay i'm sorry, i'm just trying to help her i didn't mean to leave you that long" i make a puppy face.

"Trying to help her with joining yourself to only God knows where" she almost yell.

"There there i'm sorry okay?" i hope my puppy eyes will work as usual.

"Hm okay your sorry will be accepted after buying me ice cream" she tried to hide her smile.

"As you wish" i know nobody could refuse my puppy eyes. hahahahaha.

"That was so cool!" Sally jumped up cheerfully. We get out from the cafe after i told her the whole story about being an assistant to the actor named Ace who i didn't even knows his existment.

"So when did she tell you to start working?" she ask unbelievable.

"I don't know, she'd message me later since she already have my number". Did ace really that famous? but why did i didn't even knows him?.

"Because you dumb ass never care about this entertainment world." My bestfriend hollers like she already knew whats in my mind.
