Five

Ace's pov:

I was sitting in a cafe with my manager, Lucy. She told me last night that we'll meet my new assistant here.

We've been waiting for less than 10 minutes but there's no glimpse of her. What a scam.

I grab my cell phone from the table. The lock was oppened as i used my thumb print. I started to scroll down my twitter timeline but nothing catches my attention.

I put my cell phone back on the table. My attention started roaming around, since this is my first time comming here. The outside of the cafe just beautiful like inside. Inside were full of furniture that made of modern wooden table.

I think this place is one of my fav now.

Suddenly, i saw a girl. She was wearing a short and a baby blue pullover, looking so simple. Her hair was swayed to one another while she was running. I just stare at her, until she was intering the cafe and rushing toward us-. And i awkwardly avert my gaze towards Lucy.

She must be my new assistant.

"I'm sor-ry, i'm la-te" she was caught of breath. There was a huge bruises on her forehead. What a clumsy.

I just stare at her when she suddenly grab my glass and drank it. Furiously. I couldn't spit a word when my fucking glass was snatched by this clumsy. So i just give her a smirk while trying hard not to chuckle.

She's so funny.

She has a long straight brown hair, a pair of brown eyes and her cheeks just so chubby, i want to pinch them. It looks definitely was squishy. She's not wearing any make up on her. I wonder, i've been met most of girl with make up on but this girl is indescribable.

She's different. But it'll not changing the fact that she won't last long with this job. Haha!

When Lucy was introduced her to me i just plastered a smirk on my face.
She suddenly let out her right hand to shake mine. "Hi Ace i'm Casey your new assistant." She smiled but i just give her a blank stare and raised my eyebrow to her. Not wanting to shake hand.

As i want to keep my usual behavior.

Sensing the thought of i won't shake her hand, she awkwardly pull her hand and rake her hair. Pretending she was touching her hair.

She was saying something but i couldn't barely heard it since she spurted out those words out mumbling.

Nice try!.

We're now in my private car, that i used to ride to go to my set. Casey was now sitting beside me. Lucy told her to follow wherever i go and now she's doing exactly what she said. On the other hand, Lucy sat beside my driver, Mr John. He was in charged to be my driver since i was in the newbie as an actor until i reach my popularity so high now.

She was now seated silently beside me and stare out enjoying the view outside. her body was so thin but why did her cheeks could be that fat?. All of her protein nor vitamin must be gone to her cheeks instead to her body. She still has that bruises on her forehead. I thought she already used the bandaid she got from Lucy.  Her gaze suddenly avert to me when i examining her. We hold gaze for second, she send me a smile but i just look away and smirk to her.

I felt something inside me when she smile. Something i never felt. I sneak a short glance at her once again and she looks a bit sad. I wonder why?.

Casey's pov :

I am now inside Ace's private car sitting beside him heading to his acting set. Lucy said it was half day long to reach there. It was long enough.

I sat silently and stare outside of this car. it was basically my habit staring outside of the car while i am in a long journey to somewhere. Sometimes, i can fall asleep for staring outside for too long without i could realise.

The sudden thought of dad aches me. I miss it when i always follow him to some places, as long as it take a long time to arrive. Because i could stare outside of the car for a long time along the way.

It hurts me so much that i couldn't ever see him or hear his jokes again.

I feel an eyes was watching me. It was this jerk beside me. His eyes widen when my sudden gaze move toward him. I don't want to look sad, so i just smile at him but he just look away and giving me his stupid smirk. His smile must probably cost a million dollar since he was so greedy to return mine.

He must be thinking a way in how to make me quit this job as fast as he could do to his former assistant.

But i'm not a qutter. Jerk! douchebag!.

The thoughts of starting my morning to his house starting from tomorrow and the other day gives me a goosebump. He must be planning something. Like put a pile of soap water over his front door so that when i open it, it'll splash all over me or give me a food full of hidden wasabi or-.

No it wouldn't happen. I think.

I shake my head to clear those thought and continue to focus my gaze on the outside of the car. We by passed a breathtaking blue sea, i frown. If this car could just slow down or stop for a second to let me enjoy the view of the sea...

I feel a dizziness on my head and my eyes suddenly felt so heavy. I let out a loud yawn and make Lucy, who was sitting besides Ace's driver look at me at shake her head before let out a small chuckle.

She must probably think that i'm a joker.

I couldn't fight this. My head feels so heavy and so does my eyelid. They were slowly make it way to close my view even when i did something to get rid of my sleepyhead.

And i just let it go with the flows and fell asleep silently.
