A Summer To Remember [Edited]

Chappie 10 Kaoru Matsubara

Kaoru POV

I woke up bright and early, digging through my drawer. I hurried to the shower and then back to my room. I put on my green shirt, skinny jeans, green high tops, and hat. I let my lime green bangs fall to my face instead of tucking them into my hat gladly walked out to the lab.

"Hey Kaoru!" Momoko cheered. She had a pink tie-dye tank top with love written on it, cheetah print shorts and flats, a pink bow held her pink bangs out of her face.

"Morning Kao-Chan!" Miyako cheered. She had a white summer dress, blue jacket with shorts sleeves, blue,green, and white bracelets on each arm, blue sandals, and shades in her curly loose hair.

"Morning," I waved.

"Get back here you little thief!" Brick yelled. A fox in a red PJ pants and a white shirt came chasing after a cat in blue PJ pants and a white shirt.

"Give me back my pillow!" he yelled again. Butch wasn't wearing a shirt just green PJ pants. He stuck his leg out and Brick tripped. "Was that really necessary?"

"Yes," he yawned. He tripped Boom.

"Ow!" he yelled rubbing his head.

"Now you know to sit," he smiled

"Funny, a dog is telling me to sit," Boomer slumped against the wall.

"Then learn," he said

"Yes Mam," Boomer smiled

"So why did I have to come here?" I asked

"Today's Sunday," Momoko said. She pulled out piece of paper. "You promised the first Sunday of summer you'd go shopping with us."

2 Months Ago

"Please!" Miyako and Momoko begged

"No!" I yelled

"Okay, how bout this, the first Sunday of summer you'll go shopping with us." Momoko said "Promise?"

"Promise," I sighed

"Super promise," Miyako said

"What! Do you went it in writing!?" I yelled

"Yes," Momo pulled out a piece of paper and pink pin.

"I Kaoru Matsubara, promise to go to the mall with Momoko and Miyako, the first Sunday of summer." I read aloud, then Momoko snatched the paper and pen.

"If she doesn't she'll dress like a girl all summer and first month of next school year," Momoko wrote

Present Time

"I hate you two!" I grumbled.

"Girls, would you mind taking the boys with you?" The Professor called

"Don't you think they'll get bored," Momoko asked

"I'm working on something super important I need silence. Not barking, hissing, growling, and blood." The boys shrugged and left. After showering they came out in their clothes and we left for the mall.

"Come on," I said to Butch

"Didn't you promise-

"I'm shopping for what I want, besides they'll never notice," I said "You coming or not."

He got up as we walked around. Then I saw it. The legend himself lucky blue skate wheel.

"Sorry no girls," the man said

"Excuse me," I said "And why not!"

"Because we wouldn't want you to ruin your diet, in the manly sport of hotdog eating contest," some dork said

"Aww too bad Kaoru," Kai laughed

"Whatever," I rolled my eyes, I was about to walk away. When Butch walked onto the platform. "Kyo what are you doing?"

"Winning,' he smiled

Five minutes later (Said in Spongebob narrator voice)

"Kyo Matsumoto! You've won the lucky blue skate wheel and a pack of gum."

I went up and hugged Butch. I practically screamed my head off when he handed me the skate wheel. I've never been so happy in my life.

"You wanna piece?" Butch asked "I've gone through at least four of them."

"Thanks," I got a piece of gum.

"Kaoru!" Momoko yelled "Where were you-

"Momoko, before you get mad. I got the lucky blue skate wheel! From the best shreader in Townsville! Butch won it!"

Butch POV

She went on cheering and smiling about that wheel.

"You really won her that wheel?" Boomer asked

"Yep, and a pack of gum," I said

I did this because I don't usually write moments with just Kaoru+Butch or Buttercup+Butch and when I do they're really short, so I gave them their own chapter.
