At the sight of the enormous manor dismay starts to ascend, the dense trees surrounding the manor gives a villainous aura. The animals in the forest gives an agitated feeling of someone spying on me, every pair of eyes follows me but when I look behind me nothing was there. As we arrive in front of the manor the wrought iron gates creak slowly open, awestruck they call this a manor? Six towers in every direction besides North and South, a hundred windows reflecting the gloomy sky, the glorious oak doors stand in the way between me and the owner of this wicked household.

Hyperventilating, I didn't want to come. I tried to persuade mother however she's thick-headed, telling me that I'm a worthless arrogant piece from my father's side. Nonetheless she's the one who can't keep a job, smoker, an alcoholic, petty and the list continues from there. Being the mature eldest child I replace my mother; I however do obtain an accessible job down in the Ministry of Magic, I do tend all of my classes in St Peter's Primary School and receive start A's, I do care for my siblings and do what I'm capable doing to benefit them.

I swallow my nervousness however my hands are sweating, I could've been one of those water benders. I look behind me, my mother stands metres away from me glaring into my soul. My siblings all in line with their best face on, I can see their support through the smiling and their eyes. I face the grand oak door once more, with more confidence I proudly knock on the door.

Immediately, a gust of wind stream towards me as the doors open. A blonde pale woman stood in front of me, a friendly smile was worn on her face, the scent of fresh flowers wifted into my nose. "Hello my darling, how are you? I've haven't seen you since you were a baby, your all grown up." Her sweet voice is making me nauseous, I have the feeling that she was just being kind but the way she blabbered on made me feel cared for. She looks at me awaiting for my response, I would've stayed quiet but when your mother is circling around you like a hawk spotting its prey it isn't easy.

"I'm doing well thank you, how are doing yourself miss?" Shit, that came off extremely gentleman like. I look into the woman's blue eyes trying to cover up my mistake, great now she's blushing. I tightened my jaw avoiding a scream, at least I didn't say 'I'm doing well miss and how is the most beautiful caring woman up to?' I was bracing myself for a perplex moment, however she just giggled and smiled comforting me. Completely confused she placed her hand onto my shoulder. "Don't worry sweetheart, sometimes that happens when people take things the wrong way. However I do say, you do show more respect and confidence then my son. Maybe you should show him some."

Relieved, I released a sigh that used to be a scream. I smiled back at her, I finally for once in my life feel like someone cares for me. "Well I think you should come in, I lead you to my husband." She gestured towards the doors, I bowed awkwardly and walked into the lobby. There was no such thing as cold, heat radiated everywhere not even one corner is plastered with frost. As we walk further down the hall the vibe if evilness strengthened, pictures of people with the same broady features. Their eyes full of power, well what did I expect? This is a pure-blood family, pride followed you everywhere.

We stop in front of another oak door, however this oak seems more darker than the ones nearest to the entrance. Strangely the flowery scent that greeted me in the entrance has completely vanished, the new scent smelled of blood. We entre to what I think is the drawing room, a tall blonde man sat in front of the fireplace. I felt like an intruder, he sat their comfortably contemplating. "Lucius dear, the Selwyn family are." There was silence, I didn't know whether he was waiting for us to introduce ourself or await for him to speak. I didn't want to be rude or seem sheepish so I spoke up.

"Hello sir, my names Selwyn. Cupid Selwyn, I came here with my mother and siblings." More silence, I didn't know what to do at this point. "You have a lovely manor sir, I've haven't seen a more beautiful estate in awhile. I-" With a wave of his hand I fell silent, slowly but surely he rose from his armrest. His face was the most coldest thing in the room, strong face features. Eyes matching the gloomy sky, the tiniest scar above his lip and his blonde hair long enough that he doesn't need a wand. "Dolores niece, I've heard many things about you. How you are already learning how to hex and how you manufactured Essence of Dittany with success, I must say I'm very impressed."

I could feel my cheeks burning red at his complement, however as usual that glory was ruined by my mother. "Lucius you asked me and my family to come for a reason, can we please get to it." My mother said glaring at Lucius trying to unravel what was going to happen before he tells her. "Eager always Morticia, okay however she has to leave." He pointed at me like a disease, he surely doesn't have the loving feeling like his wife. "Your granted to roam around the manor under the conditions that you don't touch the displays, do I make myself clear Miss Selwyn?"

"Understood, sir." I bowed and walked towards the doors, until I remembered that my siblings were going to be stuck in the room. I look at them encouragely that everything will be fine, I continue to walk down the hallway. This place was huge I didn't know where to start looking. I decided that I should start from the top floor, I walk up the grand staircase. This was room glore, every hallway has at least seven doors. I walked down the hallways, resisting the urge to open every door and peek inside. I stumbled upon a picture of Salazar Slytherin, looks like this family is of Slytherin origin.

Finishing examining the portrait, I turned on my heel a collided into someone. "Watch it. Who are you? Why are you in my house?" I look at the person I ran into, a boy around my age with grey orbs for eyes. Blonde hair just like his parents and the same cold expression like his father. I looked at him dumbfounded, his mother wasn't joking about his manners geez. "That's not a way to treat a guest, by the way your father had asked for my family to come." The boy looks at me with the saltiest expression, I extended my arm waiting for him to shake it. "My name is Cupid Selwyn and may I ask yours? Your parents haven't mention you."

"The names Malfoy, Draco Malfoy. I must say why are you roaming around? Did my father grant you the privilege?" Eyebrow raised I stared at him, doesn't his father usually have guest over? I didn't want to ask such question before I offend him and his family. I nodded in response, he looked at me like a lost puppy. Draco walked towards the end of the hallway he looked at me like I've forgotten something, then you unexpected happened.

Draco Malfoy led out his hand, I looked at his offering hand and back towards him. "Well, are you coming or not?" I smiled and accepted his offer, we walked downstairs. I could hear the muffled voices through the walls, instant regret. I've left my siblings in there with three adults who are Death Eaters, what have I done? No, I can't think like that. One out of three of them are kind-hearted, they won't get hurt.

I continue to follow Draco, his leads me into the garden. A fountain in the middle protected by a thick hedge surrounding it, rows of flowers gives the garden more life and colour. One glance at Draco I felt like I could be friends with this kid, we talked and talked until night fell upon us. The moon shone above us, in a giggling fit I manage to speak. "Draco, are we friends?" The laughing stopped instantly, Draco looked at me smirking. "Unless you want to be more than that, but yeah we're friends." I playfully push him however he got the upper hand and pinned me to the ground, we looked into each other's eyes for a second until I started to tickle him mercilessly.

This is the start of a new chapter.
