The Perfect Accident

Chapter 2

1 week later

"The picnics in 2 weeks." My mom states.

"So why do you need to start making the food?" I ask throwing my hands up in the air.

"I'm not, I'm planning on what food to make."

"Whatever." I mumble.

"So come on and help me pick out some dishes." My mom says calmly.

"I'm going to the movies with Alexis though."

"Fine, but when you get home you're going to help me out with this picnic."

My mom has been stressing about this big picnic thing with our close family friends and there friends. It was quite annoying actually, I'm not looking forward to go but mom says there's a boy my age that's going to be there.

My thoughts get interrupted when I hear the doorbell ring.

"Bye mom!" I yell opening the front door.

"Bye hon!" She yells back.

I open the door to a worried looking Alexis.

"Have you seen the tweets?" She asks before I could says anything.

"What tweets?" I ask

"I'll explain in the car." She says leading the way to her car.

As soon as I get in the car Alexis starts talking.

"A boy Jacob Fray is spreading rumors about you on Twitter. Do you know him?"

I feel chills as the information sinks in. Last week when Jacob requested to follow me on Twitter I thought he may actually like me, but I guess not.

"Of course I know him, what do the tweets say?" I ask nervously picking at a button on my jean shorts.

"See for yourself." Alexis says backing out of my driveway.

I fish my phone out of my pocket and pull Twitter up, I find Jacob Frays page and anxiously start looking through his tweets.

@JacobFray: @HaleyJ is the biggest whore I know. She's awful in bed too.

I gasp slightly inhaling to calm my anger.

@JacobFray: I thought I had something real with Haley, but once I heard she slept with all my friends I knew it would never work.

@JacobFray: Yea Haley's really fake, she lies a lot. I have lost all my trust in her.

"That son of a bitc-" I start but Alexis interrupts me.

"I knew you would say that, we're not going to the movie, we're going to get revenge."

"And this is why you're my best friend." I say laughing.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" I ask nervously behind the bush in front of Jacobs house.

"Positive." Alexis replies putting her dark hair in a ponytail, and sunglasses on her face. She throws her hood up over her head.

I repeat the steps she does.

"Now when I say go, throw the eggs." Alexis whispers.

I roll an egg in my hand and nod my head quickly.
