My friendly face immediately turns into a scowl, and Jacobs flirty grin turns into a look of confusion.

"Haley?" He mutters.

"Great you two already know each other!" Lisa says gladly.

"Well you two can talk while I introduce Kayla to Nikki." She adds walking away, my dad following.

"Have we met?" Jacob asks.

"At the mall you dumb ass." I snap.

"Before that, because apparently our parents have been friends for quite along time."

"My mom told me when we were little we met, but that was it." I mumble.

"Listen we need to talk." Jacob says his voice low and husky.

"There's nothing to talk about."

"No, I stopped the tweets if you didn't notice. "

"Are you apologizing?" I ask confused.

"I did nothing wrong, I just wanted to tell you that I will continue the tweets if you won't convince Jessica we aren't dating I'll continue the tweets I'm just giving you a break."

"Wow so the souless devil is giving me a break?" I ask smirking.

Jacob just glares at me.

"You know it hurts." I say walking away.

"I know, that's why I'm giving you a break."

"No, I don't need a break, I need you take down the tweets and apologize. You have no idea what it feels like."

Jacob stays quiet while I rant.

"But I don't expect you to get it. You're just some boy that hurts me."

"Tell Jessica we're not dating, I'll give you two weeks. You can convince her."

I grit my teeth and walk away.

There were so many activities at the picnic. I sat out on most of them because I was so angry. Jacob just wouldn't stop.

I pull out my phone and called Jessica.

"What?" She snarls over the phone.

"We're not dating." I whisper.

"Hale please I know what's going on. Let it go, we're not friends anymore." She hangs up. I drop my phone, I have no more hope. I just don't want to be so weak, I want to fight back. I have to fight back, but how?

Then a plan occurs to me. Something that was guaranteed to work, I smile as I pick up my phone.

"Are you sure this will work?" Alexis ask unsure.

"I'm positive." I say putting a hoodie on. Alexis said she would help me with my plan, but I demanded an apology which she gave me immediately.

"Okay let's go." Alexis says getting in my car.

We drive to Jacobs house listening to music and talking, as much as I hated to admit it, I missed Alexis so much.

We pull up to Jacobs house soon enough, I was confident about my plan. It's most likely going to work unless something major goes wrong.

We walk up onto his front steps, my legs feel like jello as I ring the doorbell.

"Get ready to record the conversation on your phone." I whisper as I hear foot steps to the door.

I hear the slight ding proving Alexis is filming.

Luckily Jacob opens it, he scowls at me.

"What do you want?"

"Take down the tweets." I demand.

"No not until you convince Jessica we're not dating."

"You know we're not." I say.

"Well duh but I'm going to keep threatening you with tweets."

"That's not fair." I say innocently my plan is going great so far.

"Shut up, we've been over this, just go home." Jacob says then slams the door in Alexis' and my face.

I hear the ding of Alexis' phone, I squeal, because my plan had worked.

Maybe this is going to be end up being okay.
