Third person POV:
The girls eyes twitched in anger. Sitting in front of her was her older brother Zen and a boy with black hair.Zen had stormed in her room with the guy by his side. Being introduced the guy waved kindly.
At the blink of an eye (Y/N) shouted at the two boys. Leaving her room angered.
"Sorry about this Obi. She doesn't like people helping her but I'm sure she'll come around."
"No problem master. All I have to do is protect her right?" Zen gave a nod. Giving a few encouraging words to Obi Zen left.
Obi stayed there in the room all alone. Looking around the room was pink and white.
With loads of toys scattered everywhere. You wouldn't be able to guess that this room belonged to a 16 year old.
With a sigh Obi left the room in search of the Princess. Finally finding her he watched from afar as she struggled reaching a book.
"Need a hand Princess (Y/N)?" Startled by the sudden voice the girl whipped her head around.
Scanning the room she spots Obi chilling against a shelf waiting for an answer.
"Thanks but no thanks. I can do it myself." Jumping up her fingers graze the back of the book.
Minutes passed as the girl got tired. Stopping for a breather Obi stood up. Taking the book with ease he holds it.
Attempting to hand it over to the princess she refuses. Puffing our her cheeks with crossed arms over her chest.
"I said I could get it myself I didn't need your help!" A smirk appeared on Obi's face.
"Is that so?" Confused at this new tone she'd never heard before her eyes watched as the book was placed even higher.
Standing there in shock she grumpily looked at the black haired male. His cat eyes staring back at her.
"Why'd you so that?! Now how am I supposed to reach?" Murmuring the last part to herself quietly Obi watched her.
She quickly walked next to him gently pushing him away from the shelf. With determined eyes she gave one final hop.
Taking hold of the book a smile plastered on her face. However, her landing wasn't as graceful.
Loosing balance due to her mid-air celebration caused her to loose balance. Falling down on her butt Obi snorted holding in laughter.
Red grazing the girls face she quickly stood up patting the dust off of her. Turning to him her hair hiding her face she shouted "It wasn't funny!"
"Sorry I just ... -chuckle- couldn't hold back." Continuing to hold in laughter the princess takes a seat.
Opening up her book she glares at the male. "Your not telling a soul about this. You hear?"
Feeling as if his life just got threatened Obi straitened calling out "Yes madam uh I mean Princess."
Looking away from him she held back a laughter. No one had ever dared laugh at her if she embarrassed herself.
They'd pretend they never saw anything but Obi was different to them. He treated her not like a princess but a person.
Obi POV:
Looking out the window I spot the Miss. Feeling the sudden urge to just leave and help her out enters my body like poison.Opening the window a gentle breeze hits me. A quite and muffled sneeze echoes around the empty library.
Smiling I turn around looking at Princess (Y/N). Her nose in the book she struggled so much to get.
It was a funny sight I'm not gonna lie. But the glare she gives is terrifying. I felt like she was standing there with a knife.
And as if she felt my stare on her she meets my eyes. A questioning look plastered on her face.
Refraining myself from laughing I just turn around. I felt her stare watching my every move.
As if judging her next movement. Noticing a strange glisten on a tree I rushed out to it.
On the tree branch stood a person with a weapon readied. Taking them down quickly I pass them onto the guards.
Returning to the library I notice the Princess is not in her spot. Looking around I couldn't see her.
Shaking my head I run off. Calling out her name I run past the many corridors of the palace.
No sight of (Y/N). I climb up to the trees scanning the area when I see her. Going through a hole in the palace walls.
Where does she think she's going dressed like that? I could confuse her for just anyone out on the streets.
Your POV:
Sneaking out the back I quickly run off into the town. Holding my bag close to me.Once away from the palace I slow down my speed catching my breath. Pulling up the hood of my cloak I entered town.
Walking down the same old path I stopped at a run down house. Opening the creaking door I hear the running of small feet.
In front of me stood a small scruffy child. "Hello there. Is granny here?" The kid nodded taking my hand.
'Granny' was a middle aged woman taking care of children with no parents. I met her the first time I had ran out the palace.
She took me in for the day teaching me many things. When I learned of her poor situation I saw it as my duty to help her out.
Ever since then I'd deliver things like food or clothes for her and the children.
It made me feel wonderful seeing the smiles of the kids when they'd receive their new garments.
Being brought back down out of fantasy the child leaves me at a broken down door.
On a dirty mattress on the ground later granny. Bandages covered the whole of her right arm.
Dropping off the bag I ran to her. "Who did this to you?" Granny gave of a weak smile.
"Greetings (Y/N) I see you've came to visit again." Passing her a nice warm drink she slowly stands up.
Patiently I wait for her to begin her story of who the hell harmed her.
