Ok, now that the absolute moron had left, led by his loyal lap dog, I could now enjoy my lesson. Buckbeak, the Hippogriff, stood tall and proud in the centre of the clearing. I remember the Hippogriff I had as a child, she was black with silver markings and the only thing I had ever really cared about. Anyone else could've died to be honest but as long as she had been alive I would've been fine.

"So, who want's to be the first to pet 'im properly?" Hagrid let a low rumble which I assumed was a laugh. I was about to step forward when Potter decided he would take the limelight, as per, and try and pet the beast. Five seconds later he's off flying on its back over the black lake. I rolled my eyes and started to head back to the castle to see what was up with ferret boy.

I then felt a hand wrap around my arm. "Where are you going?" I turned around, eyes blazing and realised it was Ron. I relaxed and smiled at him, trying to act casual as my heart skipped a beat.

"Inside to see where LeBlanc and Malfoy got to, wanna come?" I knew he wouldn't, that's why I preferred his brother since he was a lot more mischievous and didn't run around the feet of the 'chosen one'.

"Very kind of you, but I should probably wait for Harry." And with that, he jogged back to the forest to await his master.

Inside I found Clo and Malfoy in the infirmary. Clover was pussy-footing around Malfoy trying to make everything just right while Malfoy just mildly annoyed at the fact he got beat up by a bird. I sauntered in, throwing a peace sign at whats-her-face the nurse. Clover saw me and smiled awkwardly, Malfoy gave me the finger with his good hand.

"Prince Charming met his match I see." I snickered, my untamed hair bouncing up and down as I did.

"I'll show that thing what for!" Malfoy cried and as he tried to sit up, Karma backhanded him and he fell back down, grasping his arm in pain.

"Nah I don't reckon you will - get some rest Princey." I grabbed Clover and we headed to the Great Hall to grab lunch.

Entering the hall, I could do was stare at the Gryffindor table. Weird butterflies rose in my belly as I caught sight of the twins. George was nattering away with one of the other older boys. He was doing magic tricks and messing around. His smile seemed to brighten the room more than it already was and his fiery hair looked so soft! Oh my word... What's wrong with me?? I rushed to sit a the Slytherin table and kept my head down, refusing to look at anyone. I had a bad case of 'the crush' on George Weasley and I hadn't realised it until now.
