And now we charge

Once again Evie and Alec found themselves walking across the dimly lit streets heading to an address neither knew. It was predominately quiet with only small strings of words being shared between the pair. Eventually, they had arrived, it was a run down looking building which seemed to serve no real purpose to the place it was located in. It was something that if the current circumstances were not prevalent Evie was sure she wouldn't have even paid any attention to yet alone willingly enter. She entered and saw that indeed Izzy was inside of the building. Her perfect appearance seemed slightly dishevelled which could be probably explained by the way she sourced her information for the night. This was once again a harsh reminder that the girl was in fact quite possibly straight. Though a girl could dream.

"If we go back there, we come up into the basement of the Hotel DuMort. Perfect, right? We distract the vamps" Despite only being new to the lifestyle Evie was aware that distracting was not the kind of stuff she was use to. She wasn't going to attain their attention in the normal way by talking or doing something slightly more rash. No, she was going to take their attention then prevent it from ever going to someone else ever. The three moved towards the entrance, the only problem being that their location had been discovered much faster than they had thought or wanted it to be. But it was both a blessing and a curse. She would get the chance to kill some vampires which was pretty cool, but this would be much earlier than she had actually expected she would have to.

"Just a quick question, does this count as killing the vampires considering they're already dead?" Evie questioned as they approached one of the doors to the hotel.

"I suppose not" Came Izzy's response but as Evie found herself doing more often she was staring more towards the girl than actually listening to what she had to say.

After a small battle with the door, in an attempt to shut it close before eventually giving up, the three decided they would just have to distract the vampires. Evie sprung into action, swinging and hitting her way through the gaggle of vampires which had collected. She didn't stop to see if they were still alive after she had hit them she just carried on. It was almost parallel to someone using a piñata at a birthday party.

To sum the night up in full. they had eventually managed to find Simon and escape from the building. But this was not without help. But Evie just wanted to go home. Not to the institute no, but home home to her own bed, to her own comfort to her mother. To wake up and find these four weeks had been some sort of bizarre dream and had never occurred. To wake up and be going out with Gret, the only difference being that this time she would suggest that instead of heading to the cinema they would just spend the day at home instead. Home where they were safe. In reality, what Evie wanted most was to go home and cry in her mother's arms. To sit on the sofa watching Disney movies. But she knew deep down that this wasn't possible and was probably never going to be possible again. Every messed up thing that had happened in the last four weeks was real and not some sort of sick hallucination.

But she just really missed her mom.
