I woke up, looking round the cage, it was quite, too quite. I sprung onto my feet, where are they. I searched all over the cages, they where just not here. Where are they? They where taken away during the night? Lets just hope that they return soon.

I started to wake, only to be met by Luke's face staring at me. "Ar, why would you do that!?!" I yelled at Luke.
"Because it's funny." Was his only reply. I snorted at him, then walked over to the water, drinking some of it. Luke walked up besides me. We then walked over to the plants. We found a blueberry bush, so we ate our fill of the soft berries. We then went and laid on the grass, in the moonlight, soaking up the moon's energy. We stayed like this for a while, before we saw a small bird fall through the mesh. I dived forwards to catch it. When it landed on my back, I flew back over to luke. We could both see that it was a baby owl. As I placed it onto the grass, we heard a crash, as a predictor bird, flew into it, trying to get to the owl. We both stood in front of it, protecting the little bird. When the larger bird did not stop attacking, we both flew into the air, causing the other bird to briefly stop its restless attack. We both spat a fire ball at the large bird. This caused it to fly away, with a slightly burned talons.
We turned our attention back the small owl, that lay, shivering in the grass. I landed next to it, looking over it, to see if it had any ingerys. Its wing was bent in a weird, position. It's dislocated it's wing. I thought over to Luke. He walked over, and grabbed the bird in his talons. I pushed the wing back in place, causing the little bird to faint. The moon was getting lower, so we quickly walked over to the pair of little tree, by the lake, placing it in the hollow one of them had. We walked out closer to the lake, waiting to sing The Moon's lullaby. "I never knew the lyrics that you sung, guess I know now. I still wonder why we do this, but only that it fills something in us, something we did not know that we where missing." Luke said to me, as we stared at the sky. I nodded my head. We sat there for a few more seconds before we jumped into the air. We sung the song, then flew down to the bottom of the owl tree, as I am know calling it, and fell asleep cuddled into each other, at the tree's roots.
When I woke up, I saw that Luke was not here. Where is he? Luke, where are you?
"Other side of the lake." He replied back, I could see him. He was flying back over, carrying some fruit with him. In one of his talons, he held some worms. "Though it would be best to feed the little owl." He landed besides me, placing the fruit on the floor, before we both flew up to where the little owl was. When we got up there, we could see that he was awake and staring at use. Luke passed the owl a worm at the time, till they where all gone. The owl looked contempt with himself, and shortly fell back asleep. "He will be flying by the end of the week. This little bird will be ready for the wider world, though he may just stay here."
Yeah, I agree with you. We then both flew back down onto the floor. We sat in silence as we ate our food. We then flew over to the lake, taking long gulps, Luke turned towards me, then asked me, "What are we going to do, spend the rest of our lives in this room?"
"That maybe what happens. Sad to say, but we may end up spending our lives in this room, how ever many years that is." I replied back to him. We both looked at the ground, but then quickly looked up, and went over and moon tanned. This routine went on for weeks, we would eat, drink, tan, sing and then sleep. Within the first week, the little owl was flying. He decided to stay with us, in the forest room. No humans entred, we where left to our own devices. This all changed, when I was having a drink. I had stopped having the moon tan, to drink something. As I was at the waters edge, I failed to notice the giant pike, creeping up one me. It jumped out of the water, grabbing my wing in his jaw. It dragged me under, I could not swim up to the surface, I was going to drown. Luke! I called out weakly. I heard a splash, looking up, I could see Luke swimming down to grab me. The pike must of noticed him, because it let go and swam away.
