Chapter 15: Welcoming feast and Sorting

Hermione was reading the News paper until she put it down frustratedly  "Who was the idiot that was guarding the cells in Azkaban?! And do tell me who was the idiot that was guarding Wayne's home, that he was outsmarted by some muggle heroes!?"

"'Moine  believe when I say this-" said Harry calmly trying not to wake the sleeping professor  " people that work for and at the ministry are completely incompetent and got to the position they got thanks to blackmails and friends"

Hermione looked at him with utter surprise but then vocalized her concern "But they will capture Black and Wayne wouldn't they? I mean everyone is looking for them"

'Mhm, with the way they teach you at school I assure you they will capture them in no time ' said Noir sarcastically, almost making Harry chuckle.

Suddenly they heard someone desperately tapping on the window the two teens looked up and saw Constellation, without thinking twice Hermione opened the window through which the bat flew directly to Harry screeching desperately
'Sirius you should hide! They are here!' said Bruce to the dog who was lying under Harry's legs

"What is he saying?" asked Hermione knowing that thanks to his metamorphogus and Animagus abilities he was able to understand the animals (A/N yeah...forgot to add that part, please forgive me)

"He says there's something out there" said Harry as he tried to calm the desperate bat

"Calm down Bruce, who is here?" asked Sirius
Then the train suddenly stopped

As Harry reluctantly took the chocolate he asked with a stutter "Wh-what was that thing?"

The man took a deep breath and said "That, was a dementor one of the guards of Azkaban he was searching the train for Sirius Black" the man looked at Harry only once as if he didn't want to look at the boy strait in the face. Though his attention was completely taken by the large black dog that was hiding under the seat he pretended to not have noticed that and excused himself.

Once the train got to the station Harry and Hermione ran to the last carriage, due to the fact that they got out of the train the very last. Hermione was peacefully sleeping on Harry's shoulder saying that she needed some rest after the encounter with a dementor.
While their animal companions were resting on the seats in front of them

'Are you alright Harry?' asked Bruce

"Yeah I am fine, don't worry," said Harry as he looked at his two uncles "I just can't get the aftermath with the dementor out of my head that's all"

'Why? Did you see something?' asked the bat as it flew to Harry to take a better look at the teen

"I heard someone screaming..." Harry whispered "a woman"

'"Perhaps it was Lily..." suggested Sirius

Harry look at Bruce questioningly

'The point is,' began the bat 'that during the encounter with a dementor the person remembers the worst memory in his life. So, what Sirius means that perhaps you hears your mother...'
