Bruce Wayne: The Fifth Marauder

Chapter 25:Unforgetable winter part 1

December came upon Hogwarts very unexpectedly along with the sudden knees from Dumbledore that a ball is going to be held so that the Christmas at Hogwarts would be truly unforgetable. He even mentioned that many people from the ministry and high class people are going to be present so he said "I expect all of those students who stay here for Christmas to be at their best behavior"

This caused a mixture gasps that either held redemption, for already making plans for Christmas, and excitement for those students who decided to stay. That is except for a certain pair of trios, which were either skeptical of this idea and were mortified by it.

"What will I do...?" whispered Draco horrified "Father is going to be there for sure, there's no escape for me"

"It's going to alright Draco" Hermione assured him as she put a hand on his shoulder

"Yeah, if that jerk will come near you we will go totally unremarkably remarkable on him" Harry said making Draco and Hermione laugh at his joke, apparently being under the constant watch of the two remaining marauders was starting to pay off....

Which was starting to slowly manifest into a parental fight between the bat and the dog. After the events that took a couple of months ago Bruce started to keep constant vigilance on Sirius so as to not let him do anything stupid again. This all started with an argument along the lines:

"HE DID WHAT?!" Bruce yelled as he glared at the dog, that was hiding under the bench

"I told you," the dog whined "I thought Harry was in danger!"

"I don't care about your excuses if you dare to throw such a stunt one more time I assure you it wouldn't be Harry over who me you would worry about!" the bat threatened

And that's how Sirius began to loose it from time to time, not like Harry paid it a lot of mind he did warn him before hand.

"Thanks guys" said Draco "I really needed that"

Ignoring the death glares from the other Gryffindors Hermione suggested "Hey, how about we go to Hogsmete (s?) today? And perhaps go watch the Shrieking Shack from up close"

"That's great!" exclaimed Draco, but then he turned to Harry as he realized something "but Harry you wouldn't be able to go"

"Oh, that's right" realized Hermione

"And its not like professor McGonagall would let me go" said Harry sadly

"It's alright," said Draco reaching out for his friend's shoulder "we can think of doing something here"

Harry smiled and gently pushed the hand away "Nah, you go have some fun, while I'll think of something..." he turned to Noir and Constellation with a mischievous smirk

"Of what?" asked Hermione curiously

"You'll see"

Breakfast was about to finish and Harry was ready to leave when suddenly he heard Uncle Bruce from his inner pocket "Harry, before you leave, give me to professor Snape"

Harry looked at Bruce questioningly "Why?"

The bat was hesitant to answer he couldn't just go and say that he had noticed Severus staring at him throughout the whole breakfast "I just need to check on my old friend, even if I can do it from afar..." Well, that was partially true Bruce did want to check on Severus for a long time.
