I opened the door to the abandoned prison. This is where the most brutal murder of Oasis Hills happened. Almost all of the murders in this small town were unsolved. This one though, it intrigued me. A girl, ripped in half! No weapon was found. No footage, no piece of clothing, not even a finger print! There was no evidence about this murder, yet, I was determined to solve this case.

I turned on my flashlight. I shone it through every square inch of this dark and scary place. I crept through the darkness and found nothing. Nothing! I sat down on a crate and sighed in defeat. Just then, something caught my eye. Something was drawn on the floor. I walked over to take a better look at it. On the floor was a chalk drawing of something I didn't understand. It was in the shape of a character of some sort. It was like a detailed triangle. Inside the triangle was a fire and three arrows were pointing outwards from it. The entire drawing was surrounded by a circle. I walked closer to it. I studied the drawing. It looked like someone was trying to perform and exorcism. I chuckled. That's stupid. I took out my phone and took a picture of it. Maybe I'll show the cops and tell them that they missed something thirty years ago. Or maybe I'll keep it for myself and continue to solve this murder.

I took one last look at the drawing and headed toward the way I came. I reached the entrance but the problem was, I couldn't get out. No, the door wasn't locked. Something invisible blocked my way of getting out. Okay, this wasn't funny. I tried again but something still blocked my way of getting out. I tried kicking the invisible barrier but I only stubbed my toe and yelped out in pain. Shut up, someone will hear you. And boy did someone hear me.

A low hissing voice spoke, "Reid Tyler."

"Who-who's there? Come out now!" I demanded.

The voice only chuckled. "You don't know your fate just yet."

"Wha-what fate?" I asked, fear now very visible. Before I could utter another word a loud boom could be heard and I blacked out.
