***Luke's POV***

I couldn't believe what just happened. My father was back. And he killed Palpatine.

Suddenly, the entire Death Star shakes. The attack was finally underway. But now, I had to get off of here. Somehow managing to stand up, I walk over to my dad's body and hoist him over my shoulder. I had to get him off here.

I make my way down to the hangar. Through the confusion and ruckus, no one notices or cares about me. And maybe, that's just for the best.

Moving toward the shuttle that brought me here, I weave my way through the ruckus and clamor until I reach the ramp. I set my father down. He stirs and looks up at me.

"Luke, help me take this mask off." He says.

***Anakin Skywalker's POV***

"Luke, help me take this mask off." I said.

He looked at me. "But you'll die."

"There's nothing that can stop that now. Just for once, let me look on you with my own eyes."

Although reluctantly, he takes off the mask of Darth Vader and reveals the face of Anakin Skywalker. I see his eyes widen slightly in shock at my scars, scars that were caused by my sins many, many years ago.

"Now, go, my son. Leave me."

"No. I can't leave you here. I've got to save you," He says, his voice chocked with sadness. He also knows it's too late, yet he can't accept that.

I can feel my life fading. Before I become one with the Force, I look at Luke and said, "You already have, Luke. You were right about me. Tell your sister...you were right."

Then, my conscious fades as I pass on to the Force.

SOME TIME LATER *3RD PERSON POV*

Luke Skywalker stares into the burning funeral pyre, tears brimming in his eyes. On the pyre, the body of his father rests, no longer a tool of the Dark Side.

Turning to face the dark forest, he sees two familiar figures - Yoda and Obi - Wan - Kenobi. Both are Force ghosts, and both are smiling. Then, a third figure joins them - a brown haired young adult in Jedi robes. Somehow, Luke knew that this was his father. Anakin smiled at him, then all three faded into the mist. Luke smiled, knowing that the galaxy had been put to rest for now. Then he walked away to join the party.

A FEW HOURS LATER ***Luke's POV***

I am standing at her bedside. Elska's bedside. She is still asleep. She looks so frail...

My friends psyched me up to do this. Now, I'm alone here.  lay my hand over Elska's.

I close my eyes and concentrate. In my mind's eye, she was surrounded by darkness. Gently, so as not to damage her conscious, I push the darkness away. It's pretty hard to clear at first, but as more of it is gone, it gets easier. Soon, her light is exposed again, shining through the remainder of the darkness and destroying it.

I open my eyes to see her awake and staring at me.

A FEW (MORE) HOURS LATER ***Elska's POV*** ((yEp She's back whOOP :) ))

My eyes flutter open to see Luke Skywalker standing beside me. I'm lying on something soft, staring at a white ceiling. Luke breaks out into a smile. "Elska! You're awake" He says.  Somehow, I manage to say, "I thought I would never see you again." Luke leans in, and we share a long, romantic kiss. Something we hadn't done in a long time.

When we broke apart, I smiled, then I looked around. "Where am I? What happened."

Luke says, "I have a whole lot to tell you."

A WHILE LATER (WhOOP sooOOOoo many TiMe SkiPS)

"Well that's quite a story." I say. I'm a little stronger now, and I'm sitting up, though I'm still really sore.

"That's what happened." He says. Then he takes my hand in his, staring at me in the eyes.

"Elska, I've been wanting to ask you something for a while. We've been together a long time, and I really love you. So..would you...would you..."

"Would I what?" I ask, wondering what could be making him so nervous.

"Elska Caranickel, would you marry me?"

A WHILE LATER... ***3rd PERSON POV***

Luke slowly came out of the med bay, a look of disbelief in his eyes.

His friends, as well as almost the entire Rebellion(!) was gathered there.

"Well?" Asked Leia. He had told them he was going to ask her. And they had shown up to support.

Luke slowly lifted his head, and said, "She said yes." Then broke out into a smile.

The entire Rebellion cheered.
