“Chanyeol! Jongin-ah! It’s nice to see you here!” Do Kyungsoo gushed out looking happy and excited and not a bit awkward with their current situation.

The said boy just came out all of a sudden from the shadows wearing his usual bright and smiling face and greeting the two shocked boys with glee as if what was happening around them was normal--unmoving and bloody beaten bodies lieing on the ground at the back of the farthest building in their campus with Kris, Zi Tao and Baekhyun looking like they were the ones who caused such thing (which they actually did).

The way the boy said the tanned dancer’s name gave him chills down his back--from fear or something else he didn’t know, he didn’t have a clue.

“D-Do Kyungsoo-ssi...w-what happened? W-who are these people?” Chanyeol couldn’t help but stutter in nervousness as he tried to assess what was happening. A fight just obviously happened. Jongin was beside him, wide eyed, nervous and curiosity burning inside him surprising even himself. It seemed to him that he wanted to know what seriously happened because of all people, why would the innocent-looking and smiley-faced boy be part of it? The fierce looking couple fighting physically didn’t surprise him that much but Do Kyungsoo? It somehow didn’t feel right.

Jongin saw Baekhyun scoff visibly by the wall of the building still holding a barely-conscious guy against it. Zi Tao moved his feet off the lieing and unconscious body beneath him and faced the two boys as well with a sheepish smile and at the same time looping his arms around his boyfriend’s who was glancing back and forth from the newcomers and Kyungsoo as the boy walked.

“Oh! Please, you can just drop the honorifics Chanyeol. I want to be friends! And besides, our ages aren’t that far from each other... You’re actually older than me!” The smiling and owl-eyed boy gushed and stopped walking until he was finally an arms reach from the tall and still shocked Chanyeol. Kyungsoo looked at Jongin who hasn’t taken his eyes off of him ever since he showed up and continued speaking, “And about this, well, these guys suddenly grabbed Tao’s arm and dragged him here but fortunately, Kris and Baekhyun weren’t too far from him and helped him out. I saw everything and hid in a corner since I couldn’t fight like they do. Tao usually attracts trouble ever since we were in highschool so it’s normal for us now. Don’t worry!”

“O-oh...are you all of you okay though? You’re not hurt are you?” Chanyeol asked, glancing from the couple to Baekhyun by the side who was dropping the guy from the wall to the ground. Zi Tao just nodded while smiling and Kris just gave a curt nod as an answer. Jongin noticed that Baekhyun didn’t even spare a glace at Chanyeol while the said guy beside him didn’t look anywhere else after stopping his eyes at Baekhyun’s and stayed there. This added more questions to Jongin’s intrigued mind.
