carpe diem ~ exclamation
used to urge someone to make the most of the present time and give little thought to the future.I woke up in bed like nothing ever happened. I must've missed half the day again because it was already dark. I felt a hand reach for mine.
'Hey.' His voice broke into the darkness.
'Hi.'
'You must be hungry, we saved you some dinner if you want it.' I heard the rustling of foil before I flicked on the light switch to see his bed hair and heavy-eyed face.
He was in my bed again this time out of his own choice.'Thank you I'm gonna go and sit at the table.' I needed some space on my own, I wasn't sure if he had his shield up I could only tell when it wasn't so I'm guessing it was.
Take it down
I didn't get a reply so I thought he'd gone back to sleep, until the door swung open and he was stood with a bag in his arm fully dressed.
'I'm going to when your training with me begins.' He smiled throwing some gym wear at me.
'When does that begin?'
'Now.' He answered not giving me enough time to change I was still tying my shoes whilst I hopped out the door.
I had no idea where we were going until I saw a boat that wasn't there earlier on the rocks.'You've got to be kidding me.' I watched his mischievous grin as he picked me up into the boat.
'There's a cave just on the other side of the cliff we can practice in.'
'When did you have time to explore?' I raised my eyebrow at him whilst he pulled the rope in.
'You've been knocked cold out all day do you think I just sat and watched you this whole time?'
'Well yeah you can be creepy like that.' I teased holding onto the wooden seat. I'd never been on a boat before but I was hoping this was the last, the swishing motion made me feel nauseous.
Once we arrived at the candlelit cave I clung onto the floor like it was sacred. I looked around in awe that he'd do something like this for me.
There was even a basket of my favourite foods and a couple of towels.'What's the towels for?' I asked worried.
'Just in case we fell in the sea.' He softly chuckled. He looked good under candlelight, the shadows shown off his perfect bone structure while the light shon on his golden hair and piercing blue eyes.
He walked slowly over to me like he was nervous.
'Now I knew you would have done well today, it was hard to watch but you're endurance was something else.. I'm gonna try a different approach so don't be scared.' He stood behind me reaching for my arms. Telling me not to be scared made me terrified and the feeling he gave me made it much worse. His hands slowly tickled up my arms to my shoulders then back down.
'Do you remember that feeling you got where did it start?' He whispered huskily, I tried extra hard to concentrate but I was worried this wouldn't work.
'From my stomach.' I swallowed trying not to show how much I was enjoying this. He spun me around and got on his knees lifting my jumper up he stroked my stomach in circles then I froze at the shock of his lips planting kisses tenderly at the same time.
'Phoenix wh-what are you doing?' I tried pushing his head away but he carried on.
'You're forgetting that my lips aren't cursed, moje láska.'
