True love - Noun
a person whom one loves.I didn't look back.
I saw the bridge come clear, we were so close. My hands got so sweaty as I lost grip of Phoenix's now damp shirt.
We didn't speak, we didn't think we just had to make it.
When we got seconds away we jumped off the horse and ran by foot, Phoenix obviously a lot quicker than any creature alive ran human pace for once to make sure I kept up.
'We have to walk on it together.' He stretched out his hand grasping mine and I nodded. When we got to the edge of the rickety abandoned bridge my pulse sped up, I felt faint and the air was getting tighter.
'It's okay I've got you.' He said as I realised he took his shield down. I watched his Adam's apple bob as he swallowed in fear taking the next step.
'Phoenix, baby-' A voice from behind spoke, I didn't recognise this voice but judging from the reaction of Phoenix he certainly knew who it was.
'I've missed you so much.' She carried on, Phoenix turned around on the spot, I followed his gaze to meet a brunette girl who was almost identical to myself.
'Beatrice?' His voice croaked.
No it was a trap. It had to be. I pulled him along but he stuck to the ground like an anchor.
'Yes it's me, I've been waiting for you for so long. I'm so happy I got to see you again.' She smiles coming closer. I stepped in front of him out of this weird feeling I held in my body. Jealousy?
'I never thought you'd be here.' He got closer to her almost reaching out to stroke her face to make sure she was real.'You can't go along with this.' She shot me a look scary enough to haunt my dreams.
'I have to B.' Was all he replied.'You can't say you're happier with her than we were? Phoenix you- you'll kill me.' She pleaded.
Was I the only one who saw this a bit peculiar that she had turned up out of the blue just as we were on the edge of the bridge?
He looked at me then back at her.
'I'm sorry.' He mumbled squeezing my hand.
'No!!' She cried trying to pull him back. I almost saw a tear escape his eye until he sucked it back in.
'I love Luna. Always.' He repeated walking up the bridge.
I heard a thousand souls cry out all at once, it was the pure sound of hell.Hand in hand I walked with the guy I had known a day waiting for something to hit me.
The bridge started turning gold, spreading the further we walked.
'Phoenix I-' I nervously spoke not able to get my words out.His piercing blue eyes stopped as he looked down on me.
'Moje Láska.' He swept his hand under my jaw.
'If I am the one, it will make me the happiest man alive.'I felt my arms tingle as pressure shot towards my fingers, into my mind my memories flooded back holding me down in his arms.
'Has it worked?' He asked under all the wails coming from the underworld.
Phoenix. A thousand images of us shot in my head at once.
I nodded, everything made sense now. This was it, the matter of life or death.'Even if it kills you I will stay here in the underworld with you, Kiss me.' I spoke against his lips, I needed to be confident. I loved Phoenix the kind I never got to give Sam. I finally got the chance to feel the passion that had built up inside me.
He nervously smiled an inch away from my lips. He met my eyes one last time before I felt his lips crashing on mine.
