Janice Hansan sat in her Art class. Bored out of her mind. She was supposed to be making a poster out of a magazine but kept ripping the poster paper. She was just clumsy. She tried being all perky and perfect to attract a boy. She always had noticed him. He was different. Never spoke. Never got into trouble. She in a way liked him. He was just different. She liked that about him. He never noticed her. I need to do something right to make him notice me. She just wanted a way to break his shell. Her life was messed up at home. Her mother in and out of the hospital, and her father drinking to forget the pain he has because of her cancer.

Janice had noticed almost every guy in the school. The one she liked, Merciren Harvey, was just more noticeable. He had a birth Mark on his face that covered one of his cheeks. It was just so adorable. His eyes were as blue as the sky. Hair messy but easily able to be messed with. It was also a nice brown color. Merciren also was fit. She knew it when she saw him. I wonder if he has a six pack. Janice daydreamed about him almost daily. She wanted the chance. With her mind set miles away from school, she jumped at a voice behind her.

"So are you dreaming about mister hunk," asked one of the snide girls in Janice's Art class.

She was only in it because she didn't want to take a foreign language.

"Maybe I'm think of taking your boy. Maybe I'm thinking of ways to get my own. You will never know now will you Arsnic."

Now her name wasn't really Arsenic, it was Ardenela, but Janice loved getting under her skin. It also seemed to work since she turned and left Janice alone after that. Janice was happy that she had left. She needed peace and to focus. Her Art grade slowly slipping as she failed to get this poster done, that was due in two days time. She couldn't wait till fifth hour. She would see him. The boy in all of her dreams. The boy she wants to be hers.
