Unknown number: Hey. I like you.

Me: Uhhh I don't know who you are.

Unknown number: Yeah, but people do.

Me: Yeah well, since I don't know you can you please leave me alone.

Unknown number: Well that hurt.

Me: You actually care don't you?

Unknown number: Why yes.

Me: Okay well give me a couple of days to get myself sorted then I will text back.

Me: Also can I have a name that I can set you as.

Unknown number: Yes, set me as MarkFace. It's my nickname.

MarkFace: And okay I will let you do that.

Janice was oddly happy with that short conversation. She felt like she knew that nickname from somewhere. Sarah you dimwit she talks about a boy whom she had nicknamed MarkFace. Her face bloomed with recognition. She pulled her phone out again. She then started a new message thread.

Me: Hello Sarah.

Sarah: 😰 Your actually texting me.

Me: Yes I have a question. Who is the boy who you gave the nickname MarkFace to.

Sarah: Sorry love, I can't say that nickname and the origin is only between me and him.

Me: You are absolutely no help at all.

Sarah: Gald to be of service.

Me: Shut up.

Sarah: You know you love me.

Janice knew she loved Sarah in a friendship way. She was there for her. Except for know. She was being distant with what she knows. Clearly. She knows who it is and how he got your number. The realizations are just to much to even realize it. The person was always there for her in some way. Clearly according to those texts. She just had to figure out who it was so she could do the same for him. I am now really hoping that this is Merciren. It won't be though. I'm out of his league. Out of his game. Not that he is a player though. She hoped that it was the one she wanted. How little did she know, how right she was.
