"Why is it so hard to just say something," Merciren asked Sarah. Sarah was just listening and replying when needed. Merciren liked that about Sarah.
"You need to do what you think is right."
"I guess but its going to be hard for me too since I get shy around her."
"Well just try. It will help in the long run. Try complimenting her."
"Yeah I guess your right."
"I am always right."
"Ha we will see about that."
Merciren hardly ever laughed, but he enjoyed laughing. Sometimes he wondered why he was doing this. Why he was so scared. Probably cause she is the hottest girl in the school and popular as I am not, Merciren thought. He would change how he was for Janice. That was his plan.

Janice sat at her desk and waited. She was about to go up to the board to present. She hated speech. Hated it since she could never find what to write about. Her teacher had tried to help her. It didn't work out so much. She wanted to text Markface. Try to get him to want to meet her. He knew her she didn't know him. Kind of creepy but he had said he was only in one class with her. She was begining to think it was Merciren who was texting her. She would be really happy if it was.
When ever she would go up she would try to be confident. If she did not present today she would tomorrow. She hated that about Speech as well. You never got out of presenting. She looked at the clock. Five more minutes. She wouldn't lresent today and she knew it. She felt her phone buzz. So she pulled it out. She smiled when she saw what it was.
Markface: Hey want to meet up later today say about 4:30.
Me: Sure. That would be great.
Markface: Awesome pick you up at the park in between our houses. If you have not move since we where young and talked back then.
Me: So you know that park?
Me: Well I will see you then I suppose. Can not wait to see you for the first time. Since we were kids.
Markface: It is not the first but it will be the first time we actually talk since we were kids.

Janice slipped her phone back into her pocket and packed up. She looked up at the time and counted down.

The entire school was about now. Janice was working her way to her last class. She could not wait for 4:30 however. She was just way to excited.
