Chapter Five

#alright so this chapter was super late and I'm so sorry about that some health stuff happened and whatever but at least I'm updating it now, also season five came out I'm still kinda pissed that there were only 6 episodes but what can you do just have to wait till June, sorry about everything I just hope you like this chapter#

Lance's eyes eased open to the noise of an exited Allura on the loudspeaker announcing their arrival on The Balmera. He got up, and dressed and headed for the control room for a briefing on the schedule, etcetera. Lance really tuned everything out until the final words out of Allura's mouth came out.

"Come on Pidge I'll help you get ready." Allura and Pidge strode off into the hall toward Allura's room. This caught Lance's attention because he had already seen her in makeup and overreacted, who knows how he'll react to her in a dress and makeup all dolled up. Coran noticed Lance's sudden change and confronted him in a somewhat subtle way.
"So the girls have really been pampering haven't they Lance?" Coran strode up to Lance breaking his train of thought, he stiffly nodded making himself more suspicious.
"Anyone else notice how Hunk wasn't here for the briefing?" Lance tried to change the subject.
"He's with Shaye, he was way too excited so Allura and I gave him an early briefing so he could be off," Shiro explained. "Now back to the girls, you saw the work in progress of their party looks, how did Allura do on Pidge?" Shiro nudged Lance. Muttering under his breath trying to get away from his space dad, and space uncle's interrogation.
"Come on lad, we both know you like her, Allura is a bit of a blabbermouth when it comes to those matters." Coran nudged the boy, now red-faced. Lance tried to speak, but no words came out, just irks and uhms. The two inquiring the boy just laughed and the three went off to eat, the older two still teasing Lance.

After Pidge and Allura got ready they headed into the main hall to set up the refreshment tables where the boys had already been working.
"Oh Hunk, you're finally back!" Allura said enthusiastically.

"Yeah, Shaye wanted to get ready so I came back here, and of course you both look nice." Hunk was just his normal happy self. Lance didn't notice hunk or the girls because he was using the headphones he stole from pidge to tune out Shiro and Coran's torment.

"You know you guys should have gotten ready the same time we did right?" Allura crossed her arms at the boys. Their response was to rush to their rooms and change while the girls finished preparing the main room. At that point all they had to do was wait for the guests to show up, so they all just sat and waited in silence.

"Crazy weather we're having amirite?" Lance finally broke the silence that got a small chuckle out of everyone, except for Pidge. That initiated everyone else to keep the conversation going until the guests arrived, when that happened Allura gave a big speech to everyone about her never ending gratitude for their co-operation etc, after that everyone started dancing. Shiro with Allura, Hunk with Shaye, Coran dancing with every girl there. (Such a ladies man)

#ok I made this one shore because I wanted to get it published because it took so long to. But I'm on summer vacation now so I'll have more time on my hands#
