After the parade I feel like nothing can bring me down. All those people rooting for me made me realize how important this is. I am going to win.
I go back to my room after the parade and go to sleep. Tomorrow is a big day. It is our last day of training until the games.
I wake up early, so that I can get a good, big breakfast. I am going to need all the energy and alertness possible for training.
An hour later I am in the Training Center practicing with a bow and arrow. It is unusual for me to have that skill, most people in district 2 throw knives or use a sword. I have always loved using the bow. It just feels so natural in my hands. That's when Jemma comes up to me and says, "Who should we go after first in the games?" "Districts 6 and 3. They look very weak." I reply.
After a couple hours of training, we have our individual assessment. I go in shoot some bullseyes with a bow and arrow and do some knot tying just because I have extra time. We found out that I got a 9 and Ash got a 7. Not bad for someone his age. I am tired after that and go to bed.
I wake up and remember that today we have our interviews. I get up, get dressed, eat breakfast, and then walk downstairs to meet my prep team. After hours of waiting for my stylists to decide what to do for my hair and make-up, Xandra walks in with a dress bag. In it is a dress like I've never seen before. It is a deep blue color with brilliant gold flakes, it has flowing sleves and the hem is low in the front and high in the back. "I love it!" I say to Xandra. "I am glad you like it. Here are your shoes." They are high heels that I sure I won't be able to walk in. "Oh, they're interesting." I tell her. "I am going to have to practice walking in these before the interviews tonight." I added.
