All four friends watched the nurse leave in a hurry with the spare bed. Out in the lit hallway, doctors gathered round a patient who appeared to be covered in blood. He had a deep cut across the bridge of his nose and his right arm... well... there was no saving it. The young man was helped onto the bed and whisked away by the seven doctors and nurses.
Lance looked around the room at the shocked faces. "What the hell happened to him?" He asked. "I have no clue..." Pidge said, shaking her head. "But they'll have to amputate that arm for sure."
Hours went by and none of the usual seven doctors or nurse were seen. Hours gradually turned into days. Days turned into weeks. The patient they had seen so breifly gained the nickname 'soldier' among the friends.
A month had gone by and it was a Sunday afternoon, when nurse Jin and Doctor Namjoon wheeled in 'soldier'. "There you go love." Jin said, adjusting his bed beside Keith's. "Hopefully you'll all get along." Lance and Hunk waved eagerly and Pudge gave a weak smile while Keith saluted. "Hi." said the new guy. "I'm Takashi Shirogane."
