As discussed, I went about the rest of my weekend as if nothing happened, all for the exception of Aizawa staying in my room over night to make sure nothing happened.

He slept during the day as a result, but only every three hours or so for his unfortunate worrying. I trained while he slept and kept the house tidy, along with cooking meals for him when he was actually awake; and before either of us knew it, the weekend was over.

The Monday the internships began was a warm one, and standing in the train on the way to Endeavor's agency intensified that heat. I let out a breath and clutched onto the handle of my suitcase, — in which held my hero uniform — knowing that this was only a little taste of the warmth I was about to experience being Endeavor's intern.

The train ride didn't end soon enough, and when it finally did, I left the train and roamed down the street toward the tall building where Endeavor awaited me. People scampered and scurried around me, on their way to their regular jobs and carrying on with their regular lives; as I stared up at the Endeavor Agency, I wished that I could live like they do now.

I rose a head steadily over my eyes to shield them from the sunlight as I glimpsed up at the enormous building, suddenly unsure of pursuing anything related to heroics. But then again, I didn't really have a choice. Protecting people was in my blood, no matter how hard I tried to deny that.

Sucking in a second breath, I let my hand fall back to my side and climbed the few steps toward the agency entrance. A few D list heroes ran passed me as I entered the glass doors, and I could only assume that they were on their way to deal with something crime related. My stomach churned at the thought as I approached the elevator.

My designation was at the very top floor of the building — where Endeavor's office was held — and so the ride up took a little over three minutes. The longer I was held in that tiny metal box, the more I felt claustrophobic.

I quite literally sped out from between the stainless steel doors before they had the opportunity to open all the way and eventually evened out my pace as I walked down the velvet hallway toward the double doors leading into Endeavor's office.

I remembered very little about Endeavor from when I was young, aside from the fact that he was only a year or two older than my father. They knew each other when they attended U.A., and from how little I saw of Endeavor, I could only assume that he and my father didn't get along too swimmingly. Dad always had his friends around, and it was rare for him to dislike anyone, so my hunch had to be right — or at least I'd be finding out soon.

I stopped before the dark wood doors and knocked thrice before a gruff 'come in' sounded from the other side. With little hesitation, my hand fell to the door handle. I stepped into the room with a straight face to see Endeavor seated at his desk, focused on a few sheets of paper held in his large hands. He didn't look up as I shut the door, nor did he when I stopped five feet away front of his desk.

Another few moments passed before he concluded his reading of what I assumed to be crime reports, and only once the papers were set back into their beige folder did he meet my patient gaze.

"Yuki Osoroshi," he observed, looking me up and down before a satisfied smirk broke across his face. "I have to say that I'm surprised."

"Surely not as surprised as I when I discovered your name on my request list." I replied wittily and he chuckled lowly. I felt my spine tingle.

"You have your father's smart tongue." He pointed out, leaning back in his seat.

"So I've been told," my curiosity peaked again as I examined the flames surrounding his teal eyes. "Might I ask you something before my internship officially begins?"
