Sam sat in the elevator for what felt like hours, in reality, it was only a few minutes but the sounds of the elevator echoed in his head as he sat there in boredom. He tapped his foot as the metal death trap came to a stop, he grabbed his ball that he set down next to his foot and stood at the elevator's gate. He gripped onto the ball anxious, worried what is on the other side. The gate opened slowly to reveal a bright light, he had to cover his eyes for them to adjust, once his hand was removed he looked at where the light was to reveal a huge room. It looked like something out of a movie, it was futuristic but held a sophisticated feel. His eyes widened as he saw all of these creatures walking through the room, some of them were humanoid but others were far from it, most were running around with papers as if they were working there. The cat next to him had run out of the elevator and down a hallway, leaving Sam in the elevator by himself, he cautiously took his first step out and took another look around.
He quickly noticed a crowd of workers surrounding someone to talk to them, he made his way over hoping to find a human in the crowd of beings. Somehow he managed to push his way through, at the center he saw someone assuming it was the boss because of how many people surrounded them. He finally got to the center and his eyes widened in surprise from what he saw in front of him. His classmate, the perfect girl stood before him. Sapphire was standing in the middle of all these people filling out papers and signing important documents. "S...Sapphire? Whats going on here?" she recognized his voice and her sight snapped towards him, he stared at him few seconds before snapping to her senses "Code Yellow! Code Yellow!" she yelled at the top of her lungs and everyone scattered. Alarms started to blare loudly and yellow lights started to flash bright enough that he had to cover his eyes, dropping his ball in the process.
"What's going on Sapphire!" he called out to her as he felt two people grab his arms and drag him away, he noticed the prick of a needle touch his left arm and he quickly started to pass out. The last he heard was Sapphire yelling something before it all went to black.
