Chapter 19 : Stefan's Gift

Monica's pov (Fangy)

I really miss Carla. School is even worst without her. We all miss her.

I was standing with her mom Julia, and Jermey. Her mom was catching her phone.

"What do you think had happened to her?" Jermey asked Julia really worried about the answer.

"We are not sure yet. But, we don't think she's safe enough." She said with teary eyes and a face that was sadder than any other in the room.

"We have to find her!!" Jermey added again.

Her mom just nodded hard maybe trying to prevent her self from crying.

She went away when someone called her and Jermey stood with me.

I got a phone call from Haley.

"Yes, Haley what's wrong?"

"I wanted to know if you were alright Fangy." I soon remembered how Carla was always calling me that.

"No, I'm not alright Haley, and she is not even safe." I explained and soon I was crying.

"Calm down Fangy...well...Do you wanna know what had happened in the new episode of TVD??" she said trying to make me feel better.

"yeah!! yes please!" I whipped my tears and got rid of my cryings just to hear about TVD...it's the only thing that gets me out of the bad mood.

She started talking and I loved it. I commented and everything. Then, she told me to come to have a sleep over today at her house.

Carla's pov

We sat in the car and Damon started asking me what was that.

"So, you've never faced things like that before?" I asked.

"No, I hate hanging out in public areas where stupid humans exists. I only come here to feed."

"Look, I am not sure how to explain this but I'm sure I'll find a way."

"You can't explain that humans are so stupid?! And who is this Ian guy anyway...Even Monica your friend...I remember her mistakening me with an Ian too!"

"Are you sure your name is Damon?"

"Are you kidding?!!! Since the 1860s I have been memorising my name." He obviously teased moking me.

"Okay...Can we talk about this later? After buying your bro a gift atleast cuz....you'll have to watch something to understand."

He silenced for a while then..."ok"

We then reached some where that had alot of shops.

I walked with Damon on the streets looking at the shops. We wanted to choose something for Damon to give Stefan as a brithday gift.

"I can't believe I'm doing this!" He said.

"When was the last time you bought Stefan a gift?"

"Centuries ago!! I gave him a quiver for his 13th birthday. When he was sweet and we weren't vampires yet...His friends used to beat him in school and I protected him then I bought him a quiver as a sign of self strength to show him that he doesn't need me anymore."

"That was sweet...But, he will always need his elder brother Damon! You also need your little brother. You have no one else in the world."

" I know. But, things didn't go as good as we planned it...I didn't die too quickly even when i was a soldier in the war and We got into the...you know!"
