Chapter seventeen

*Aaliyahs POV*
I open the door to my room and kev was turning up to music.
"Okay baby boy" I say laughing while I dance with him. "Ayyyyyyy" he says grabbing my waist and dancing with me. We were dancing to Look Alive
Kevin stopped the music and started laughing . "How was the meeting ma?" He said while throwing himself on my bed. "Very good, I'm super excited" I said smiling and putting my bag down and taking a sip out of my smoothie. Kev came and asked for a sip, "Daniel took a sip" I said. "Ewwwww whyyyy" he said being dramatic 😂 "sorryyyy"
Kev pulled me in between his legs and looked in my eyes and started to lean in.....but my phone rang, (wow this always happens)

Me: HEYYYY
Bri: wassss popinnnnn Me:wassuppp
Bri: nun much Wyd? Me: oh me? I just got home from a meeting with AllStar and Shanna!!!!
Bri: YAYYY Omg i day this a lot but I'm so happy for you and you need to hurry up and date kevvvv y'all are so cute!
Then Kevin says "thank youuu" and then I laugh. I wanted to go to put my smoothie in the fridge so I went to the kitchen and brought my phone with me. I'm walking to the kitchen and Daniel says "yooo who's that?"
"My friend Bri come say hi" I say with a smirk. Bri: hey (she was hella chessen) Dani: he beautiful! (Lmao he diggin herrr) Daniel whispers in my ear "give me her number when you get off!" 😂 I was dead. "Okay" I say back laughing. Me: well mama ima let you go bc ima spend time with the boys bc they leave in 2 days. I say with a frown.
Bri: Ight Love youuuuu
Me: love you more.
Then the call ended....
Wait where tf is dev? I start looking for him but then Daniel screams "yoo Aaliyah give it to me!!!" I run to him and hurry up and put her number in his phone😂 "thanks sissss" he says chessin. I look in the back yard and there is Dev. I feel so bad for him. I can't believe he likes me💔😩 I start to take in deep breaths and open the door. "Hey Dev" I say while sitting next to him. "Wassup" he says with a fake smile. "You Ight?" I said obviously concerned about his feelings. "There's just someone I really want, I'm just hoping to forget about that person." I obviously knew that person was me but I have to say what I have to say. "If that person doesn't see how special you are then forget them, it might be hard but be smart about it please, especially if that person is really happy with someone else, don't ruin it for them" I said looking into his eyes. He just smiles and then goes inside. Damn.
"SHE TEXTED BACK!" Daniel screamed😂 wow he really thinks Bri is cute bruh😂 "yooo ley watch a movie!" I yell so all the boys can hear. "Yesss we should watch one!" Daniel says excited. Kev comes out of my room and says "yerrrrrr" And I just laugh. "Dev you up for it?" I said looking at him. "Of course" he says back while smiling and throwing me a bag of popcorn. I just smile back. "Ima take a shower before the movie" Kevin says while grabbing a towel. "Hurry up bc I wanna take one two" I said. "I mean we can both save water and you can hop in with me" he said while smirking. "Nah ima just take a shower in my moms room😭" I said smirking back and grabbing my towel as well. "Ight be like that then!" He said laughing and closing the bathroom door.

I put on some sweat pants and a white T shirt and kev where's a TBD jacket and some sweat pants. Dev goes and takes a shower in my moms bathroom and Daniel takes a shower in mine. It's about 6:30 and My mom should be home any moment and my step dad gets home early so he should be home around 7:30. Daniel gets out and so does Dev, they get dressed and go to the living room where me and Kevin we cuddling. Once I saw dev I kinda separated myself from Kevin because I didn't want Devin to be sad. I just wanted this night to be a good night. While the boys pick the movie my brother FaceTimes me. Me: heyyyy Chris:wassup!
Me:Wyd
Chris: giving myself a hair cut. Me:cooool! Chris: wbu? Me:hanging with the boys. Chris:ohhh shoot wait let me talk to Kev real quick.
Ughh I say in my head while passing the phone to Kevin bc I know what's coming. Chris: you hurt her heart and ima fly to New York and beat your ass and I'm not playing with you lil boy. I trust you and she tells me all about you and you sound like a good guy, so don't ruin it. Oh and don't wear pants tighter than hers and keep making her happy.
Kevin just smiles and says "you got it my man" 
I look at Dev and I guess he didn't here anything bc I didn't see no reaction AT ALL I just saw him on his phone patiently waiting. I get my phone and say my good nights to Chris bc it is two hours later than here so he say good night and hangs up. "Ight let's watch this movie!" Dev says while smiling.
