Chapter 23

*Kevin's POV*
I'm not scared at all to be honest. If I'm scared then it's about Aaliyah but other than that I'm not scared. I miss my baby😪
"Yo where are you taking us?" Daniel asked Brit. "Uhh to a hotel I guess" she answered. "Me and Kevie are sharing a room" she said lookin at me with a smirk. Daniel and dev looked at her with disgust. I just looked at her then looked at my phone. I was thinking about how she was gonna take us to hotel. I wanted to get away and get to my baby girl but I had to think smart. Omg devins dad and Shanna are sleeping at a hotel. What if we end up going to the same hotel!! Okay chill Kev chill.... okay.
I turn around and look at Dev and Daniel then quickly look back at my phone. They get the clue to text me.
I turn my ringer off and so did they.
Dev: yo are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Kev: I think I am!
Daniel: I swear if we sleeping in the same hotel as mama Shanna then I'm zoomin
Kev: yesss that's what I was thinking
Dev: same!

We put our phones down and look at each other. I put my phone behind my pocket.
We get to the hotel and Brit opens the door for us.
We get out and go inside. It was stupid of her to have me and her separate from dev and Daniel bc they can just text Shanna and pops and they can find them and text me. Damn I miss Aaliyah.
Once I put my stuff in the room I sit down. The room had a Bed and a couch on the other side. I sat on the couch. "Baby" Brittany said walking towards me. Of course I didn't answer. She grabbed my chin and forced me to look at her. I gave her a face with no emotion. "What WE have is real" she said.
"If it was so real then why did you cheat?" I said with no emotion.
She just stared at me...
"Kev stop bringing up the past. You are mine" she said.
"You are fucking crazy. I don't wanna be with you, the fuck is going on in your head that makes you so dumb eh?" I said trying to be calm but couldn't help but get loud.
She sat on my lap and I took big breaths bc I knew she was tryna have sex with me. I didn't want to. I can't do this to Aaliyah. "Get. Off." I told Brit in a Strong tone. She looked at me with a mad face then slowly got off. "Can we just start over please" she said while her eyes got glossy.
"No. I don't want to. At least not with you." I said looking down.
"I should've shot her Kev." She said looking at her gun. "Wtf, Brit I would let you be with ANYONE I would never hold you back from falling in love with another guy. I would never hurt the love of your life. Why are you doing this!?" I said starting to get up from the couch. "Kev I am the love of your life."
"No. You. Are. Not"
*ding*
Omg my phone.
"Who's that?" She asked.
"Uhh" I responded while grabbing my phone. "It's Dani asking if I'm okay."
Daniel: you good?
Me: yeah, come outside, ima make an excuse to go out.
Daniel: Ight
I deleted our text then I put my phone back in my pocket and sat back down.
"Kev don't lie to me"
"I'm not ma"
I said.
"Ma?" She said with a smirk.
Look I I needed an excuse to leave the room..... toothpaste!!!!
"Yeah baby" I said
"Hmm what made you change your mind?" She asked.
"I forgot how good you throw it back" I
Said with a smirk.
"Hmmmm" she said giving me a smirk in return.
She got closer to my face...
"Wait, I wanna do this clean and I didn't bring toothpaste.... can I go down to the front desk to ask for some?" I said holding the side of her face acting like I was gonna kiss her.
"Fine but remember, I have a gun Kev..." she said looking at her gun again.
"No worries I'll be right back shawty" I said with a wink.
I walked out.
FINALLY
I run next to the elevator to find Daniel right there.
"Where's dev?"
In the room. Just in case Brit goes to the room.
We walked to the front desk.
"How may I help you?" The woman asked.
"The girl that checked us in has mental problems" Daniel blurred out.
Stupid.
"Huh?" She asked
"Look the girl that checked us in has a gun and she is threatening us and we just need help. Call the police or something. We are going back to the room while you call the police to make it look normal. Okay. Oh and I need some toothpaste"
She looked at me shocked.
"Uhhh okay... here is the toothpaste and I'll call right away."
Then too people walk in the lobby
SHANNA ALLSTAR!!! Yessss
"Hey what are you guys doing here"
Daniel looked and me then back to Shanna and said "Brit"
She looked mad. "What did she do and where is Aaliyah?"
"She pulled a gun on us and threatened to shoot her if we didn't go with her. But it's fine Brit is okay and the front lady just called the police."
I said.
"Okay I need to go back to the room"
I said.
I ran to the elevator and went to the room.
"What took you so long?"
She asked
"Oh there was nobody at the front desk so I had to wait" I responded.
"Okay lets go brush our teeth and get going" she said with a smirk.
After I brushed my teeth Brit went to go brush hers. I was praying that the police will come before she's done😩
She finished and walked towards me.
*KNOCK KNOCK*
She jumped and looked at me.
"Kev? Who is that" she said worried.
"OPEN THE DOOR OR ILL OPEN IT MYSELF" a guy yelled.
I jogged to go open it.
THE POLICE!
"What is going on" Brit asked while backing up.
She grabbed her gun and pointed it to her head.
"DROP THE GUN" one out of 3 policemen said.
Brit closed her eyes as tears came down.
She dropped the gun then put her hands in the air.
Dev and Daniel came running out the room. And went straight to me.
"Kev how could you" Brit said while looking into my eyes.
The police got her in cuffs and asked us questions in the lobby.

Shanna and AllStar took us to the car and we drove off. Shanna asked to call Aaliyah to let her know we were going there.

I called her 4 times and she didn't answer.
"Guys something is wrong" I said.
"She won't pick up."

"Let's go check up on her" Shanna said.
We got there and the front door was open...huh?
I ran to her room and Chris had her in his arms and she looked passed out. Chris looked like he was calling 911. He looked at us and all we saw was tears.
"WHAT HAPPENED TO HER" I yelled. And I felt tears coming down my face. "AALIYAH" dev and Dani said at the same time while running to her. I went to her and grabbed her hand and looked at her face. "She passed out and she doesn't wake up" Chris said while hanging up the phone.
"BUT HOW?!?" I said looking into his eyes trying to find answers.
"IDK I JUST CAME IN AND SHE WAS KNOCKED OUT ON THE FLOOR OKAY STOP YELLING AT ME KEVIN, WE ARE ALL SCARED OKAY" Chris yelled back.
Shanna was speechless
"Stay calm everyone okay, ambulance is on their way right" AllStar said walking
back and forth. Chris just nodded.
