Chapter eighteen

Well dev seems to be in a good mood...anyways we continue to watch the movie

*after movie*

Me and Kev was cuddling the whole time. Daniel kept looking on his phone and texting Bri🤪 my girl has him on lockkkkk lmaooooo
But me and kev go to my room and my step dad texts me that he was waiting outside and he asked me to get something for him. I grabbed what he needed and walked outside (it felt like a bag of clothes)
"Where are you going" I asked concerned. "I need to go away for a little bc of my job" he said back. I feel like he was lying but whatever. "K love you kid" he said "love you" I said while walking inside. While I walk inside I hear people arguing... kinda sounded like Dev and Kev... OMG! I run to my room bc it sounded like it was coming from there. I swung my door open, "wth it going on?"
Dev just looks at me and his eyes looked watery...(wtf) and he just walked out. I look at Kevin, "what. Happened. Kevin." I said while getting closer to him. "He's talking to brits friend and I'm tryna warn him and he won't listen!" he said getting up from the bed getting louder and his face got red. I walk up to him bc he needs to chill. "I'll talk to him but right now you need to chill before my mom comes home and hears all this mess"
He just looks into my eyes and sits on the bed, I can tell he is very sleepy. "You look really tired so go to sleep baby" I said looking into his eyes. "Are you gonna lay down with me?"
He said crawling into the bed. "Later I have to go talk to Dev remember?" I said as I walked out. I walk to the room he was sleeping in and closed the door behind me. " I don't wanna hear anything from you Aaliyah, please leave." He said while looking at his phone. "Idc Dev deal with it."
I sat next to him and looked at his face...his eyes started to water. "What's wrong?..." I ask. "You don't understand..." he said while trying to pull himself together. "I might if you tell me what is goin on Devin"
He looked up at me with slight anger. Idk if I was scared or not.
*Devs POV*
Wow. Just wow. She really cares. Man I want her to be mine. I went to brits friend bc I wanted to get revenge on Kev but the more that I look at her makes me think she doesn't deserve revenge, she cares so much about Kev, and I can't do that to her. I need to stop talking to Ashley (brits friend) "hello" is what Aaliyah said snapping me out of my thoughts. "Aaliyah I'll stop talking to her okay, right now I need some time to think and get myself together." I look at with sad eyes my anger isn't as bad anymore. "Okay Dev"
As she was walking out I walked with her to close the door when she left but she stopped in the middle of her walking....she turned around and hugged me... really tight, man. " I'm here for you and I don't want you to get hurt by a dumb ass girl ight" she said in my ear. All I could do is kiss her on her forehead showing that I heard her. She left the room... what if I was already hurt and it wasn't by some dumb ass girl... it was from her💔
