"Nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too." I respond, smiling. After awhile of us chatting, we eventually got bored, which probably left Noah with this idea.
"Do you want to come to my apartment hotel?" He asked.
"UHm.. if that's alright with you, it's alright with me." I said, a bit unsure.
"Yeah, of course." Noah said standing up from the park bench which we were seated on for about half an hour tops.
I walked with him on his right side as he lead me to where he was staying.
"We're almost there, just a couple more blocks down."
"Sounds good."
As we were walking down the many side walks of the city, I started to realize how weird it is to be inviting a stranger you just met today to your house. Who knows. They could be a serial killer for God's sake. Not saying I am, but like, still.
We soon opened the door which caused a gust of warm air brushing against our pale complexions, I then realize that this was a fairly familiar lobby.
"H-hey, this is where I'm staying too." I said
"Oh, really!? I haven't seen you around how long have you been here for?"
"Just yesterday, which explains why. What floor are you on?" I asked.
"Three. You?"
"Two." I said, as we reached the elevator, pressing in the button that read three.
When we got up, we walked over to room 314, Noah pulling out his keycard and unlocking the door. I would expect it to look relatively the same, but oh boy how I was wrong.
The ceilings were at least 20 feet tall, spiral-like stairs leading up to a little crawl/lounging space. This room had a mordern aesthetic which I loved, and included about four bedrooms- each containing their own bathroom.
"Wow. This is so nice compared to my place. Do you have roommates?" I questioned, making my way to one of the many gray sofas and sitting down.
"Yeah, actually. Don't worry, they won't bite." He teased, resulting in me to giggle.
"Twenty one questions?" I asked.
"Yeah!"
We continued to play for quite awhile, until something interrupted us right in the middle of my 'what is your hobby' question. I glanced over towards the now open door, Noah doing the same. Only to be met with a brunette peeking her head out from behind the door.
She shut the door behind her and turned to us both, more specifically Noah.
"Oh Noah you're Here!" She squealed, running over and giving him an almost suffocating hug. I cringed. Hard.
"Hey, I missed you!" He said with a genuine smile.
"Oh, Julia, this is Raven. Julia, meet Raven. Raven, meet Julia." He said, introducing us, which earned me a glare from this so called Julia girl.
"Hello." I say shyly. She pretended not to noticed me speak and took a seat next to Noah, wrapping her slender arms around his, almost protectivly. Ew. I cringed even harder.
"So.. are you together or-"
"Duh, of course. Right Nohie?" She cut me off in a baby voice and kissed his cheek, then returning back to me with that evil look once again.
"Yeah, of course." He mumbled.
"How long?" I asked, curiosity taking over.
"One month." Noah said, speaking up this time.
Jesus christ. How can he put up with her? No offence but I honestly feel kind of bad for him.
"Wow, I'm so happy for you both." I said putting on a convincing cheery and happy tone.
"Hey, it was really nice meeting the both of you, but I should get going. My mom is expecting me back at my place by now. Thanks for having me though." I say, getting up and making my way to the door Julia had previously came through.
"Bye." I heard Noah say from the couch, as I stepped out the door and shut it. As I turned my left I nearly bumped into a slightly taller figure.
"Oh! I'm so sorry." I apologized looking up to meet with their eyes. I honestly could've hyperventilated at this point, which I surprised myself that I didn't.
First getting the opprtunity to come to the city, then Millie liking my photo, then meeting Noah and finding out he lives here, in the same hotel I'm staying at. And now This! I'm a one damn lucky girl if you'd ask me.
Then I remember what Noah had told me earlier, which is probably why this person is standing right here in front of me at this moment. " Do you have roommates?"
"Yeah, actually. Don't worry, they won't bite." Then it clicked. Roommates.
That person is probably one of Noah's roommates. Wow.
"UHm.." I started.
"What were you doing in that room?" He asked.
"Noah invited me. Sorry. Anyways, bye Finn."
OKAY first of all, I don't know if you've noticed, but I try to keep the names as much of a secret as possible until last minute. I want to try to surprise you guys. Is it working? Let me know, I would love feedback :)) I really hope you enjoy this chapter and that is all I really have to say right now soo
