4 Hours later
Alice P.O.V
I woke up feeling the touch of someone patching my head up, I squealed when I felt pain through my head. That's when I felt someone tighten their grip on my right hand, I slowly looked up and saw Kendall smiling at me.
"Shh..he barely start patching it up..if you move..he'll mess up" Kendall whispered, I nodded and knew it was Carlos who was doing the medical work on my head. Carlos stopped and Kendall pulled me into his arms, I noticed I was tied up in the food pantry, not even chained. I was tied up by a rope which was cutting my ankles and wrist the more I moved them. Carlos continued to patching my head up, it hurts like hell and Kendall would bury my head in his chest.
"Almost done..hold on there Alice" Carlos said, I managed to make a noise that sounded like if I said okay. It passed about 15 minutes of my tears wetting Kendall's shirt and me making weird noises of pain.
"Done" Carlos said, I was about to move when he stopped me.
"Not yet..i need to cover it" He said, I sighed and went back to my regular position.
"That was a bad idea Alice" Kendall said.
"I know..I just killed two innocent people" I cried, Carlos finished and stood up.
"I'll be back, you can move your head now..but not to much" Carlos said and left with the first aid kit in his hand. I looked up at Kendall expecting to be slapped really hard. I looked into his eyes and saw no anger, but like upset and sadness. Kendall smiled and let out a chuckled, but different. This boy is confusing me.
"Don't feel bad..I've done it" Kendall said, perhaps he was joking.
"Yeah..but you're a vampire you don't feel bad about it" I said, he reached his hand up and I was ready for the slap. Finally after 5 seconds of my head being turned and my eyes closed shut. Nothing came, when I opened one eye and felt his smile was sweet. I was more confused than ever.
"But is wasn't entirely your fault" Kendall said, I found myself let out a little laugh.
"Well gee thanks..that makes me feel so much better" I said with sarcasm in my voice, Kendall laughed.
"😄🙂..not like that...but..those people weren't supposed to be out here..I don't know how they found this place out..the trail is off and there's gate that says no trespassing" He said, I shrugged.
"No one listens to those trespassing signs these days" I said, Kendall looked up and nodded.
"Yeah but..they were stupid..you told them to go and they didn't..they should've listen to you..so it makes it their fault" Kendall said, I nodded. But I didn't totally agree with him, he put both of his hands on my cheek and leaned in closer to mine.
"And whatever James says..don't let him tell you it's your fault..but don't fight back..I don't want him hunting you" Kendall said, I found myself smiled a little. Then my heart beat.
W-What? Am I..actually smiling? This isn't right? He is cute and you can't tell me I can't fight back cause..I will fight back , no matter what I will fight.
Kendall smiles, I think he just heard my thought. I should really learn how to block my mind.
"Kendall" Carlos said, Kendall did not hear Carlos calling his name. He looked at me, then Kendall continued.
"James needs you" He said, Kendall stopped and rolled his eyes. He stood up off the bed.
"Hope you feel better Alice" Kendall said to me and left. Carlos went up to me and sits down next to me, he looked at my head.
"So..any thoughts?" Carlos asked, I didn't understand.
"What are you talk about?" I asked him, he shrugged and laughed a little.
Carlos P.O.V
I overheard James saying how he was going to punish Alice, but that's the thing he can't. I think my small lie went to his head. I went upstairs, walked in the hallway, when I got to Alice's room, I stood by the wall and I heard Kendall and Alice talking. Alice thought about someone was cute, but then I heard her thinking.
"I should learn how to block minds" I whispered. Then I noticed Kendall was going to kiss Alice, that's when I bursted in the room. We need to take Alice somewhere.
"Kendall" I said glaring at both of them.
"James needs you" I said, Kendall stopped what he was going to do and rolled his eyes. Kendall stood up. I went up to Alice and talked to her. But she didn't giving me a answer.
"Know what Alice..just think about every thought you had thought of" I said, she smiled. Alice nodded and then looked around.
"Carlos..am I going to be punished?" Alice asked, but she already knew the answer. I nodded and looked down.
"James is actually going to-" Her eyes widened and tried to move her ropes.
"No! He can't"
"Carlos" Logan yelled from the kitchen, I looked up. I heard him coming up the stairs, walking in the hallway and saw Logan standing in front of the door.
"James needs all of us" Logan said, I stood up.
"I'm sorry Alice..I have to go" I said and kissed her head, then left her in the darkness as Logan shut the door and locked it.
"What's it about?" I asked Logan, he shrugged.
"I really don't know..this is the first time something like this happened" Logan said, I nodded and looked down as we walked downstairs.
