Alice P.O.V
I saw down outside in the grass, staring at Carlo's little grave place. It's been weeks and I still can't go through with it. I needed a new plan, without Carlos. We couldn't go through with the regular one, I feel like I failed. Like the girls have lost about her, I want to know what happened. I heard leafs crackle behind me, I turned halfway and looked at who it was. Which is Kendall, he sat next to me and just sat there staring at me.
"Are you okay?" Kendall asked me, I nodded weakly smiling. He smiled and put his arm around me, when I didn't hug back he knew something was on my mind.
"What's wrong?" He asked, looking down at me.
"Just something on my mind" I said, still thinking about it.
"About Carlos?" Kendall asked, I shrugged.
"Not exactly" I said looking down in thought.
"How close were you and Carlos really?" He asked, I looked at him and he had serious face.
"I don't know how closes we were" I said, that question made me think more. Hurting my head more, he sighed.
"It must of been really close if he taught you how to block your mine" Kendall said, I looked up to see him smirking. I sighed and scooted away a bit, but he just scooted closer.
"Don't be all scared of me, I'm not like James"
"That's exactly it, why aren't you like him?" I asked, Kendall shrugged.
"I seriously don't know..to him..being the king means..I don't know..the whole entire universe! He wants to have all the power and-"
"He sees you as a threat" I finished him, Kendall nodded smiling.
"Yup..I guess that's why he took Alexandra" Kendall said, I looked at him and just stared until he gave me a questioned look.
"Yeah...what happened between you and James with Alexandra? It must of been pretty bad" I said, Kendall didn't answer. I grabbed his hand and gave him a 'Please' look.
"Please..I really went to know Kendall"
"Well..to me..this happening right now..is a replay" Kendall squeezed my hand, I tilted my head.
"Well..Alexandra belonged to me, she was my slave..my favorite one..like-"
"I am?" I said, he nodded.
"I guess James is feeling afraid that I'll over-power him..so..he takes my favorites" Kendall move around a bit.
"He done it before with Alexandea, but Alexandra was the one that hit me. Because she started falling in love with me..James couldn't bart it, he hated love between a vampire and human...and he still does..I'm pretty sure" I thought.
"Like now" I whispered, Kendall smiled because I guess he was happy I was falling for him too, I shook my head.
"James seems to show feelings for me" I said, he looked at me confused.
"I don't know if he does love you or not..it's hard to even read James feelings..hell! It's hard to read James period"
"If he hates love between a human and vampire..then he must be planning on changing me, if he loved me" I said to myself, Kendall's eyes widen.
"I won't let that happen Alice...James isn't coming out of that basement any time soon..he's too weak to even try to escape" I nodded knowing that we were safe.
"Would a relationship between a vampire and human work out? You're not going to like..try to protect me?" I asked, he shrugged.
"Only if it's controlled, I can control myself around you...after when I bit you though..I wanted more, but James stole it" I nodded.
"Hmm...he's a bother..you should keep him in there forever" That's when he stood up.
"Sun coming up a bit, you should come inside" Kendall said, I looked up with half a smile.
"I'll be there soon" I said, he smiled.
"You better..or I'm going to have to punish you" Kendall winked, I laughed and nodded.
"I will! I promise...besides..I probably won't even make it down the street" I said.
"A girl like you Alice..you'd make it to the other side of the city" Kendall smiled.
"Though..being chased by a vampire...maybe half" I giggled.
"Then I won't try anything" I lied, he waved while have a small smile and red cheeks, I thought.
Maya P.O.V
I was working in the kitchen as I heard James voice in my head, I tried to ignore it. But he kept calling my name, it was hard to ignore. Especially after he was going to murder me.
"Leave me alone!" I whispered, but that didn't stop it.
"Okay! If I do this..just leave me be" I grabbed the knife when no one was looking and went to the front, nobody told me I couldn't do this. I found my way to the basement and cut my arm and the blood gushed out. I saw James looking through the crack between the two doors, his eyes glowing. I put my arm to it and squealed a bit as James sucked my blood.
'Help me Maya become strong again..then I can get out..and we can be together' James whispered in my head, I nodded smiling.
'Forgive me for trying to kill you my dearest..I love you so much' I felt my cheeks blush.
"I forgive you" I said and bit my lip as he sucked my blood.
