Sometimes I imagine how it'd be to just disappear,
Go someplace where its only me and my mind can be clear,
Where I'm not held back by inhibitions or fear,
Only the sounds of peace and calm, I can hear.
Would it be scary for me to be all alone?
Wishing that someone would call me on my phone,
Or would I bask in my solitude and switch off the tone,
Release my mind of everything it has known.
I get flustered at my tiniest mistakes,
I find it hard to just give myself a break,
I focus too much on what's at stake,
Never exploring the true potential of what I can make.
I tell myself to be strong and bold,
You never know what your future will hold,
So take a chance and let your journey unfold,
Only then will your story be told.
