Leah's POV
When I woke up the next morning, I immediately noticed that my head was resting on a pillow and not on Ian's wonderfully muscled shoulder. I also saw that my blanket was pulled over me, causing a smile to break out on my face. That boy must've put me in a more comfortable position before leaving, that was actually really sweet. Last night had been incredibly fun, Ian was so charming and we had so much in common that I could already tell we were going to get along well.
I reached for my phone over on the nightstand and opened up Snapchat. When we'd been talking last night, he told me that he had never used Snapchat before, so I made him take a bunch of pictures with me with filters to show him what he was missing out on. I smiled as I scrolled through all the photos, saving my favorite ones to my phone and deleting the ones I thought I looked gross in.
I looked at the time and saw that it was only a little after 9 in the morning. I set my phone down on the nightstand and jumped out of bed, feeling super refreshed since I actually managed to get more than eight hours of sleep last night. I looked out my window, looking around my beautiful neighborhood to see people already out walking with their dogs and doing yard-work.
I looked to my right at Ian's house, and my smile widened when I saw him outside with his father. They were working on a car that sat in front of them, both of them looking like total grease monkeys. Ian was standing with his back to me, and I let my gaze move over his figure, admiring how his white undershirt clung to his torso and how his jeans rested perfectly on his hips, more specifically over his ass. I smirked as I remembered him staring at my body last night, thinking about how I was doing exactly the same thing now.
I couldn't see what kind of car he was working on, and as I was about to go and get ready so I could go over and figure out what it was, I heard my phone vibrate on my nightstand. I picked it up to see it was a text from Kevin:
Hey, be ready in half an hour. You promised we'd hang out today :)
I sighed, I really didn't feel like going out with Kevin today, but I did promise him we'd go out together so I was screwed. I figured if I rushed I could go and say hi to Ian before going out with Kevin, so I rushed into the bathroom for a quick shower, playing Elton John on my phone and singing at the top of my lungs. When I was done, I brushed my hair really quick before going over to my dresser and pulling on my almost-completely lacey black bra and matching underwear I got from Victoria's Secret. I didn't normally shop there, but whenever they had a sale I made sure to stock up on what I could.
I pulled on a slightly-deep white V-neck t-shirt and my favorite black skinny jeans. I looked at myself in the mirror and nodded once I was satisfied with my appearance for the day before making my way out of my room.
I skipped down the stairs and almost ran into my mom who was walking by the stairs. "In a hurry," she asked with her tone full of sarcasm making me roll my eyes and smile as I ran past her to the front door.
"I wanted to talk to Ian before I go hang out with Kevin. I'll call you later, love you, bye!" Before my mom could comment, I was slamming the door in her face and running silently across my lawn until I reached the edge of Ian's lawn.
I started walking up silently behind him. His face was currently buried under the hood, turning a wrench on something I didn't know or want to know what it was. I didn't see his dad anywhere, so I assumed that he'd gone inside. I took very small, calculated steps as I got closer, and when I was only a couple of steps away, I sprang at him from behind and jumped onto his back. Much to my disappointment though, he didn't move, not even a flinch.
The muscles on his back shifted as he stood up straight, and I jumped off of his back as he turned around to face me. He smiled once he saw it was once, which turned into a laugh as I punched him in the arm.
