- a poem written by Zara -

---

solving a jigsaw puzzle is no easy task.

especially when it's you.

you sit right next to me, listening to every question i ask.

while i search for at least a clue.

no space to breathe.

my breath caught in my throat.

i can see your sheathe,

but I have no excuse to saying thanks for keeping me afloat.

7:31, you ask me.

7:32, i freeze.

an hour later, i'm still there, but undersea.

my thoughts float overseas.

i lose a puzzle piece.

i can't find it.

every note i hear i try to make peace,

but i can't quit.

every quarter note to sixteenth note is played,

my heart beating to the rhythm.

but i'm afraid.

you see, i'm risking it with 'im.

i flip the pages,

search for every hint,

look through different ages.

it's hard to make your personality a blueprint.

didn't lies get you places?

ah, i figured it out.

not all of it though, i left a few traces.

not giving up, even if i take a new route.

you messed with a girl who races.

races to find the next clue,

a risk she takes to solve this puzzle.

my, my you are clever, my new deja vu.

out to find comfort and nuzzle.

see, i'm so close... here's an 'adieu' that was long overdue.
