Shun x reader: Dance with me

     "Dance with me." He didn't even ask, already knowing the answer. His confidence was overwhelming, yet at the same time refreshing. His hand had already found its way to your cheek, his arm wrapping itself around your waist. You couldn't do much, only stare into his mysterious eyes, his gaze became the only light in the darkness. The one star that guided you to safety. My that was quite dramatic, but that was all you could say to describe the way you felt in his arms right now. Though if you had to pick only a word to describe the feeling...safe would be the only word that came to mind.
     You didn't need music, the beats of your hearts were the rhythm and your smiles the song. You cautiously brought your hand up to his and held it gently, not wanting to harm him in any way. In turn, he moved your arm so it was encircled securely around his waist. "There you go." He teased, breaking the silence that had once surrounded you. Though it wasn't exactly unwelcome. His voice was velvety and bright. Enchanting.
     He started gently swaying to the imaginary music, you following his example. For a while that went on. Though of course, he had to tease you a bit as well. Occasionally speeding up or distracting you by placing light and playful kisses on your face. Though, exhaustion was a foul truth that you wished to lie your way out of. But, your body could only dance so much. Collapsing into him was inevitable, but he caught you. Bringing you into his warm embrace, welcoming you to his warmth.
     "I love you, my shining star." He whispered, his voice resounding directly beside your ear. "I simply cannot dream of what this day would have been like without you. Though I suppose that would have been a nightmare. I am grateful to have you beside me everyday. I cherish you (Y/n). And most of all, I love you." At the end of his speech, he placed his soft lips upon your own, ending a perfect day with a perfect moment.
