[taehyung x jungkook]

"We're over!" The girl said to the guy as he ran far far away, to his favourite place that kept his mind away from everything. The ice cream shop. The guy, known as Jungkook, let all the tears he kept in him all flow out with all his feelings in them - anger, sadness, loneliness, every negative feeling that existed.

Jungkook ran in the coffee shop all the way to the corner of the place and slid down into his chair, stuffing his face in his hands as tears continued to flow uncontrollably. Everyone stared at him, but he didn't care. All he wanted was happiness again, and the empty feeling inside of him to be filled with the presence of someone he truly loved, forever and always.

Taehyung scooped out some ice cream onto the cone and gave it to the smiling girl, happy that she was content with the ice cream. He could feel eyes staring at him, but he chose to ignore it thinking it was nothing. He didn't have the intention of doing anything, that was until he heard muffled sobs coming from the very corner of the shop. He glanced over to his side as his heart ached just by seeing the feeble boy break down before his very eyes. Taehyung checked his watch. "Just in time" he thought to himself as he got his apron off and walked towards the trembling, helpless boy.

"H-hi, are y-you alright?" Taehyung asked worriedly as he sat in the chair directly opposite from Jungkook. He looked up from his hands, squinting from the light that surrounded him. He looked at Taehyung. Is he real?! He thought.

Taehyung looked Jungkook in the eye, feeling his heart swell as he took in the red, puffy eyes Jungkook had. He broke away their eye contact, getting more tensed as each second passed by the awkward moment they shared.

"Breakup?" Taehyung said breaking the silence. Jungkook opened his mouth to speak, but he found no words leaving it as he tried to silent his sobs. He sighed nodding his head in response. He looked down to the table where Taehyung placed the kookies n' cream ice cream. Jungkook reached in his pocket to pay, but to only get his arm pushed down by Taehyung. "You don't have to pay sweetheart." He said, showing his signature box smile that made Jungkook's heart flutter as a light shade of pink tinted his cheeks.

"Thank you..." He uttered, sending a smile back to Taehyung.

"So what's your name?" Taehyung asks Jungkook who was now eating his ice cream happily, as if he did not cry a few minutes ago. "Jeongguk. Jeon Jeongguk." he replied with a mouthful of ice cream.

"Oh, I'm Kim Taehyung but you can call me Tae." he replied sending Jungkook another one of his boxy smiles. He felt as if his heart could jump out of his chest at any moment. He never believed in love at first sight, especially right after a breakup, until the day he met Taehyung.

   "You want to go out together to get your mind off of her?" Taehyung said. Jungkook could explode at any moment. He felt that Taehyung was too kind to him. He nodded again, afraid that he will stutter again. After putting the now empty ice cream cup down, Taehyung took Jungkook's hand in his. Jungkook was startled, Taehyung also not expecting what he just did. Taehyung's cheeks turned red as he felt Jungkook squeeze his hand tighter.

   "L-let's go-go?" Taehyung said trying to hide his face that turned a darker shade of red. Jungkook nodded as they stood up hand in hand, not caring if anyone judged them. They just wanted happiness. Is that too much to ask from the world?

   They went out, Taehyung wanting to tell Jungkook that they were only pretending since he just wanted Jungkook to be happy and forget about her for awhile. But he thought, maybe it would be better if it wasn't.

     They were enjoying their time out together, Taehyung and Jungkook sometimes dozing off into their own thoughts about each other. They never knew that they could fall in love for someone so easily. Although they loved the idea of being together, do they trust each other?

   Whilst shopping, they stopped their tracks. Or you can say that she stopped them from their tracks. Taehyung being clueless, not knowing who she was until she muttered. "You," she pointed at Jungkook. "How dare you move on so quickly without me?!" She shrieked. "A-and with a guy?" she screamed furiously, causing a scene at the mall slowly gaining more attention. Jungkook forgot how homophobic she was and didn't tell Taehyung. Tae was about to charge at her, he couldn't handle it anymore. But Jungkook stopped him from doing so.

     Jungkook's face reddened with anger as she looked at the girl before him. Why would she be jealous?  He thought thought in his mind. "Shut up!" He shouted causing the crowd before him to quiet down. Jungkook didn't know why he shouted, but since everyone became impatient, they all left. Except for her.

They stood in silence for awhile, but Jungkook decided to break it. "Why did I move on so fast? It's easier to move on from someone I n-never loved t-to someone I r-really..." Jungkook trailed off at the end, not having anymore courage in him to speak. He looked away from her then to Taehyung, looking deep into his eyes. His hands were sweating, but he did not care and decided to take Taehyung's hand in his once again.

"B-because I..." Jungkook took a deep breath. "L-love Taehyung." He wasted no time, afraid he won't be able to have the courage to do it if he waited any longer. He closed the gap between their lips, admiring each other's features up close. Taehyung's brown eyes that glistened under the bright light around them; and Jungkook's grey eyes filled with innocence slowly fading away as they shared their first kiss there in the mall with Jungkook's ex staring at them with shock.

"This is the start of a new beggining" Taehyung said as they pulled away, smilimg like the crazy idiots they are. She screamed in terror after witnessing her ex-boyfriend kiss another boy. After walking away while pulling off her hair extensions, Taekook looked into each others eyes, confused as to what they would become in the future.
