Fixing This Mess Up

Derek's P.O.V

"Where did Ady go and why are all my things from her room in a box on my bed?" I ask and watch Ady's back fade through the trees. "She's going to the cabin because of you!" Ally sneers at me, I've never known her to get angry let alone that angry. "Because of me? what did I do?" I ask confused.

Just then Noah, Chris and Stiles come in, "Ally why are you so angry?" he father asks her, Ally now has tears streaming down her face. "Ady went to the cabin for god know's how long because of him!" she points an angry shaky finger in my direction. 

"Ally, what did Derek do to make Ady leave?" Noah asked his niece, "He was making out with Branden behind the barn, Ady saw them, she then came in here took a backpack full of stuff, her laptop, MiFi and headed out as fast as she could, I just got her back and now she's gone again because of him" she was crying so hard now that she could barely stand still, her father wrapped his arms around her trying to calm her.

"OH my god, Derek is this true?" Stiles asked getting upset. "Yes, but its not what you think, what Ady saw was Braden kissing me, what she didn't see was me pushing her off me straight into a pile of horse shit, I told her that I was in love with someone else several times, but she just kept on until she attacked me, I came in here to tell Ady what happened when she left before I got the chance," I explain to them.

Lydia then comes through the back door, "why did Braden leave here cussing like a sailor and smelling like she rolled in six-month-old horse shit?" she asked, then she looks around the room and her face turns from curious to worry. "What happened?" she asked.

Ignoring her I say, "I've got to fix this, how do I find her?" I asked, heart, beating out of my chest at the thought of losing her. "You can't son, none of us know how to get to the cabin, but her, knight and Rambo and she takes them with her when she goes to keep us from finding her," Noah explains softly.

I fall to my knees on the kitchen floor and cry, I've just lost everything. "I'm sorry Derek," Ally says and she places a hand on my shoulder, everyone is quiet and then my face is attacked by dog tongue. 

"Rambo get off Derek now's not the time for that," Stiles says, "Wait" I look up and come face to face with Ady's beloved dog, "She didn't take him!" I say excitedly. I get to my feet and head for the door.

"Derek take Luna, she's been there a couple of times, but I was blindfolded, she'll follow Rambo," Ally tells me, I nod and run out to the barn and saddle up Luna. I mount her and look down at Rambo, "Find momma," I say and he takes off in the direction I last saw her. 

Thirty minutes later we reach a clearing at the edge of the woods and I spot a little cabin in the corner of the field with the lights on. I unsaddle Luna and remove her reins letting her graze with Knight.

I look up to the cabin door and see Rambo waiting there, I walk up and knock on the door softly. Ady opens the door, her face is wet and red from crying and it feels as though I've been stabbed in the chest.

"How did you find me?" She asked, I point to the dog, whom she calls a traitor and lets him in. She then looks back up at me. "Derek, I've been hurt enough for one day, I don't think I can handle anymore." and then she shuts the door.

I bang on the door, "Ady, it wasn't what you think I swear, she kissed me and when I recovered from the shock I pushed her off me, please Ady you've got to believe me, I'm in love with you I wouldn't do anything to hurt you." I beg her to open the door and then her phone rings, It's quiet for a few more minutes and then she open's the door.

"You love me?" She asked softly, "yes Ady I love you so much it hurts to be away from you," I say she looks torn as to what she wants to do. So I close the gap between us taking her in my arms, "I love you Adelyn Renee Stilinski, only you, this isn't how I planned to tell you, but it will have to do" She then wraps her arms around me and sobs in my chest.

After a minute her cries stop and she looks up at me, "I love you too Derek Hale" she says and I crash my lips to hers, I swiftly pick her up and carry her into the cabin shutting the door with my foot, then I carry her up the steps into the loft bedroom and lay her on the bed.

"I love you, Ady so much and I'm going to show you just how much," I say capturing her lips with mine and proceed to undress her. This will be the one and only time anyone ever comes between us again because one day she'll be Adelyn Hale.
