Kayleen Rosie Maxwell
Detention watch was great. Luke was pretty quiet the whole time, I didn't know why and I didn't care, but I hated the fact that he decided to sit in front of me.
His face was rested on his chin, obviously bored. I read some book Gemma gave me to pass the time, although I kind of noticed that Luke was staring at me. I wasn't exactly sure because I was too busy enjoying the book.
Anyway, when I went out of the detention room, along with the other students, I head to my locker. Harry sees me fixing my locker and here he his, offering to give me a ride back home.
"No, it's okay, you don't need to." I smile as I get my phone and wallet from my locker.
"C'mon, you don't want to walk alone in the rain, do you?" Harry closes his locker, which is a few lockers away from mine.
"It's raining?" I widen my eyes.
"Yeah. I just came from football practice and in the middle of the game, it started raining." Harry explains.
"Oh." I close my locker, "I should have gotten that umbrella when mum told me to."
"I guess I'll have to take you home." Harry gives his cheeky smile and I give in.
"Okay fine, but only for today."
"I can't keep promises, Kay." He winks and he leads me to the parking lot.
"Harry it's raining! How can we get to your car?" I ask. You see, our school's parking lot doesn't have any roof, so it's either we wait here or go do something productive.
"RUN!" He grabs my hand and we ran through the rain and into his car. Once we both get in, we laugh at our stupidity. I guess he chose to run to his car.
"Harry, you're an idiot." I laugh, "You're prone to colds!"
"I know." Harry starts to drive his car through the rain and his someone texts his phone.
"Could you check that for me?" Harry asks, but his eyes fixed on the road, "I don't want to text while driving."
"Aw, you." I poke his cheek, "Always trying to be so careful."
He shrugs, "Better safe than sorry."
My hands grab his phone and I check who texted, "It's Niall, he asked if you could pick him up."
"Tell him 'okay' and-"
I tap the call button and put Harry's phone on my ear, "Hi Niall!"
Harry looks at me and he furrows his eyebrows, probably wondering why I called the Irish lad. I give him an innocent smile and listen to Niall.
"Mate, I really need- Kayleen is that you?" He asks.
"Yeah, Harry offered to give me a ride home," I explain, "Anyway, Harry and I will be coming back for you."
"Can you put me on loud speaker?"
"Okay," I tap on the loudspeaker button, "Harry can hear you now."
"Harry," Niall says in a sing-song voice.
"Yeah, Ni?"
There was a short silence, "Nia-"
"How much styles could Harry Styles style if Harry Styles could style hair styles?"
"Bye." Me and Harry say in unison and we laugh.
"Please don't tell me you're not gonna pick me up anymore." Niall says.
"Okay, I won't." Harry says, "Just kidding, mate. See ya soon."
