Lucifer POV

'Have you heard the news?' The words make my head turn quickly.

'What news?' I ask , looking down on the man who always intervenes.

'Your precious Lucas has fallen in love' Jake says, he isn't scared of me. But I still make sure to keep my posture around him

'Impossible.' I say before sitting down on my throne.

'Possible.' Jake says and I roll my eyes

'I told him Demons couldn't fall in love. I made a deal with god 18 years ago. His 'true love' is the most unlikely person he would ever meet.'

'Isn't it unlikely that an angel would end up in hell... an angel that's not scared of - you. An angel that got given to him for his birthday....'

I look up in disbelief.

'Are you trying to tell me that Lucas- is in love with Angel...?' I ask, standing up from my seat.

I feel my skin heat up.

And it's from anger.

'Yes... it would seem so... '

'I don't believe you.' I say, before pouring myself a glass of whiskey. Continuing to walk round the room.

'Well I could go inform your wife- she was always very believing... oh wait...'

The words sting but I don't show it.

'Oh wait- she's dead!' I say, I clap my hands together and laugh

'Listen you sadist fuck.' I growl, watching a smile on Jakes face grow.

'You loved her- did you not?' Jake says and I watch as the heat on my skin causes the whiskey in my hand to bubble.

I drink it and look at him.

'I didn't love her.' I say.

'Why not?' He asks, his sadistic tone showing through his voice.

I turn around and look at him and spit out the words I've said a million times before... 'A Demon can not love an Angel.'

'So how about we fix this whole Lucas situation before that changes... what do you say Lucy? You ready to team up again?' His hand reaches out.

I take it.

'Let's destroy that angel. Once and for all.'
