Part 40

'Hello Abby' Edward says , walking through the door.

'Hello Eddy' I reply and he chuckles.

He hands me a bottle of wine and I go to take it before pulling back.

'What is it?' He says and I chuckle.

'Uh- if I take that bottle. There is a 99% chance of me dropping it.' I say and he laughs again

'I'll go put it in the kitchen' He says and I smile as he walks past me.

There's immediately another knock at the door, I open it to see Jake, Alex behind him. I see a bruise on her arm. 'Hello, angel.' He says kindly, I feel a shiver down my spine.

I feel warm hands wrap round my waist protectively.

I smile as I hear Lukes voice in my ear 'hello Jake. Hello Alex.' He says calmly and they walk around past us.

After a while there's about 30 people in our house. I walk around before bumping into a woman I've never seen before.

'Hey watch it- oh - are you angel?' I look up at the caramel skinned woman in front of me.

'Y-yeah' I say and she smiles and hugs me

'Hey ! I'm Cody and Dans friend- my names Stephanie but you can call me Steph.' She smiles and I look behind her as Faye, Isaac and a girl I've never met walk up to us

'Angel! Long time no see- how ya doing?' She says and I smile , Isaac clicks away on his phone.

'Good, you?' I reply and she looks at Steph.

'Good! I see you've met Stephanie. And this is Sacha.' I smile at Sacha and look as Cody and Dan walk over.

'It's like a little group over here' Faye says

'Yeah- squad goals' Cody says in a mocking tone, we all laugh and I look around, wondering if Lucas is around.

Instead I see a guy, as I turn around I bump into him, unlike everyone else here, he's not that much taller than me. I smile and he smiles back , looking at his pastel purple hair and then back down to his brown eyes.

'Sorry about that' I say

'It's fine, hi; I'm Alyx , with a Y.' I love the way that name sounds

'Well I'm Abby- with a b' he laughs and we start talking.

*30 mins later*

'NO YOU DIDNT' Alyx yells through laughs.

'NO SERIOUSLY- I JUST FAINTED AT THE MOST IMPORTANT DINNER PARTY IN HELL'

*30 more mins later*

'Oh it was so beautiful - there were these amazing lanterns everywhere and there was this song playing , and it was like the type of song that gives you goosebumps- y'know?'

'Oh my god that sounds so romantic! How did the song go - I might know it.'

*1 hour later*

' cAUSE IM AN ANGEL WITH A SHOT GUN' me and Alyx sing/scream in unision, not caring who's looking at us.

'I CANT BELIEVE YOU KNOW THAT SONG- where did you hear it?' He says and I smile

'Well when I got kidnapped on the ride home the guy giving me a lift started playing it and I just love it so much'

'OH MY GOD FOR HALLOWEEN WE CAN GET YOU A SHOT GUN AND YOU CAN BE THAT SONG' Alyx says laughing.

I laugh to, until I realise that by Halloween I might not be an angel.

'It's been amazing hanging out with you Alyx- but I need to go find Lucas' he smiles

'Okay well I'm gonna go raid the snack table.' He says and I laugh.

I find Lucas in the living room and go towards him before whispering in his ear 'follow me' I say and he follows me upstairs and into our room.

I wanted to talk to him about it all but all of a sudden an urge comes over me and I look at Lucas and bite my lip, he turns around after closing the door and I immediately push my lips against his, my hands round his neck, he pushes me against a wall, his hands on my waist and starts kissing me.

It's not our type of kiss though.

It's not the soft yet rough kiss that we usually share.

It's just rough. Full of lust.

And I love it.
