Ch.3 Mate?!

They all looked confused, so I decided to start.

"I apologize , I didn't mean to trespass your territory, I'll keep going..." I forgot what I was saying when I looked to Alphas eyes.

"Mate" he growled and started walking towards me. I just stood there wide eyed, watching.The two other wolves were doing same.

"What's your name?" Alpha asked.

"Emily" .

"Okay Emily.What were you doing in my territory? By to way my name is Derek, Alpha of the Moonlight pack, and these are Liam, my beta and Jace, my pack warrior"

"I was just running from those rouges, I didn't mean to trespass"I answered uncomfortable with the situation.

" Care to explain your wolf? That's not supposed to be possible?!"he said looking confused.

"I don't know ,I'm just like that".I answered feeling annoyed by the question that had bother me for all these years.

" Let's go to pack house to talk then" We started to walking to pack house, Derek leading the way ,Jace and Liam behind me most likely to prevent me from running. Which I would probably do if I had the chance to.

When I saw the pack house I gasped. It was about as big as our pack house and had many smaller cottages around it, which I suppose, were for mated couples.

We went inside and there were many teenagers hanging around the lounge and all of them were looking me with curiosity or doubt. I was getting really uneasy under their stares.

"Are you okay" Derek asked watching me and probably noticing my uneasiness. I nodded at him even though I wasn't.

We arrived to Derek's office and it was huge. He sat down on a chair and told me to do so too, Liam and Jace sat down on the couch.

"You're my mate, so you have to join the pack, I suppose you want to inform your family"Derek said.

" No need to" I answered him, upset because he reminded me of the past I desperately wanted to forget. 

"What do you mean?" He asked frowning.

" I don't have and that's all I'm going to tell you" I answered curtly, I was extremely touchy about this subject.

"How? Liam asked curiously despite my earlier words.

" That's none of your business" I said to him while narrowing my eyes angrily. I already mentioned  I wasn't going to give them anymore information.

" Where do you live then?In the city?" asked Jace confused.

"In the woods". I nonchalantly answered him, it wasn't like I could live in the city with no identification or education.

"For real?!"he asked.

"No, I was joking. Yes for real you idiot!"I said, sarcasm lacing my tone, I was seriously starting feel annoyed with their interrogation.

"How long have you been alone?" Derek asked.

"Since I was 8 and I'm turning 18, so about for 10 years and I also can't join your pack. I have to leave as soon as possible". I said while my wolf protested to my words, not wanting to leave our mate behind. I couldn't trust some just based on them being my mate especially when they were an Alpha. That means his pack would always come first.

"NO! Your going to stay!"Derek growled to me, shaking with anger of though of his mate leaving him.His eyes were pitch black so I knew his wolf was taking control over him.

"No deal" I said sternly back at him.

" I can't I would just put your pack in danger" I said as I calmed down little.

"You're not going anywhere and what do you mean with that you would put my pack in danger?".

"You think all wolves and hunters would leave me alone when I'm black female Alpha?! I've been hunted down since I was left alone and I think it's not going to end now just because I join a pack.Most packs would want me too so they could have female Alpha in their bloodline".

"I'm not going to let you go, that's for sure". he said not intimidated by my warning. Well if that was how it was going to be,I would just have to wait for my chance to leave.

Then a guy ran in panicked."Alpha, rogues are attacking us!". What a great timing, I thought with sarcasm.
