Dereks p.o.v
I was informed that there was rogues in my terrority so I decided to check it out with my beta Liam and pack warrior Jace.
I just loathed rogues, because my mother died in rogue attack. So I have pretty good reason.
We were running to place where rogues were when I smelled intoxicating scent. It was very distracting.
We continued running and when we arrived I saw four rogues going to attack black wolf. Black wolf? Sure I was one too but what it was doing here,in my land?
Liam,Jace and I attacked four rogues, and noticed from corner of my eye that black wolf ran away. So I decided to run after him.
'Liam, Jace take care of the rogues and then come after me',I linked to them.'Sure,Alpha'they answered.
I ran after black wolf and after about ten minutes I catched him and tackled him to the ground, pressing my canines to his neck. He was trying to get away but didn't stand a change. I waited for Liam and Jace before let go of him.
I went to change and said to Liam and Jace to do so too. "Shift rogue!" I said as Liam and Jace came. He just shook his head.
"SHIFT!"I yelled to him. Again he just shook his head.
"I think he wants clothes" Liam said. The rogue nodded and Liam threw clothes to him. He picked up clothes and went around the trees to change.
What confused me is that behind trees came a girl. I had my mouth hanging open like the other guys and I think we all looked pretty confused.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to trespass your terrority, I'll keep going..." she stopped talking as she looked into my eyes.
"Mate" I growled ant started to walking towards her. She was just standing there wide eyed. She was beautiful. And she was my mate.
"What's your name?" I asked
"Emily"she answered. Emily that's perfect.Okay, now I'm starting to sound maybe little too girly.
"Okay Emily. What were you doing in my terrority? By to way I'm Derek, Alpha of the Moonlight pack and thes are Liam my beta and Jace my pack warrior "I didn't want to question her but I had to know.
"I was just running from those rogues, I didn't mean to trespass" She answered with her angelic voice. Oh wow I was really distracted.But the fact someone was trying to harm my mate,really angered me.
"Care to explain your wolf?That's not supposed to be possible?" I asked confused,as I remebered that she was black wolf.My mate was black female wolf. That meant that she is strong Alpha female and there has never even been an female Alpha.
"I don't know, I'm just like that" she said looking little annoyed.
Let's go to pack house to talk then" I said to them.
As we started walking I was leading the way and Liam and Jace were walkimg behind Emily.When the pack house came to sight I heard gasp from Emily. Yeah it's pretty big and all.
I walked to inside and noticed that all teenagers were staring Emily with curiosity or disgust, some even with lust. The last one angered me badly and I glared boys who were staring my mate with lust.I also noticed that she was getting pretty uneasy under their stares.
"Are you okay?" I asked her concerned. She nodded with smile, but I coul tell it was fake smile.
We arrived to my office and all of us took seats.
"You're my mate so you have to join the pack, so I suppose you want to inform your family" I started.
"I don't have one" she said tearing up as she looked down to her feet.
"What do you mean" I asked frowning.
"THAT I DON'T HAVE A FAMILY" She screamed to me I decided to drop the subject because I realised she was touchy about it but Liam and Jace continued.
"How?"Liam asked.
"It's none of your business, but if you have to know they were killed by rogues." she said narrowing her eyes to Liam.
So her whole family had same fate as my mom. I bet her father was Alpha but which pack. There were many of packs wiped out by hunters or rogues.
"Where do you live then? In city?"Jace asked. It's weird that he talked, usually he was really silent guy.
"No, in the woods"she said.What!?
"For real?!" Jace asked,now even more confused.
"No, I was joking,YEAH for real you idiot!" she said with sarcasm.
"How long have you been alone?" I asked , my wolf didn't like the idea of our mate alone in the woods.
"Since I was 8 and I think I'm 18 in two weeks, so about for 10 years and also I can't join your pack and I have to leave as soon as possible"
"NO!Your going to stay!" I growled to her, my wolf taking control and angry of thought of our mate leaving us. I had to use my all will power so I wouldn't mark her mine now.
"NO, I'M NOT GOING TO STAY!" she screamed and my wolf was getting even angrier.
"I can't, I would just put your pack in danger"she said calming down little.
"Your not going anywhere ,and what do you mean with that you would put my pack in danger?" I said determined.
"You think all wolves and hunters would leave me alone, as I'm only black female Alpha? I've been hunted since I was 8 and I think it's not going to end now. Most packs would want me too so they could have female Alpha in their bloodline." she said and my wolf was getting angry again of thought someone else trying to mate with our mate.
"I'm not going to let you go, that's for sure" I said more determined than before. I wasn't going to let my mate be in danger and live alone hunted.
Then one of my pack members ran in screaming."Alpha, rogues are attacking us!"
