"I'm really nervous, Blakey," you said, gripping his hand tighter as you walked down his road and stopped in front of his door. "Don't be, baby. Everything will be fine and mum and Abbie will love you, I'm sure," he searched your face for a sign of hope, taking your hands in his.
"Hey, it's ok. Even if they don't love you- which they will -then it won't change anything between us. I love you, y/n. Endlessly," he said, never once looking away from you. He kissed your forehead before leading you up the driveway to his front door.

He knocked and stepped back, taking your hand again. "Blake, hello love! And- oh, you must be y/n?" Soulla said as she answered the door. She hugged her son before leaning towards you to do the same.
"Um, yeah. Hi Soulla," you greeted her as she pulled away. "Don't be nervous, darling. You seem lovely from what Blake's told us," she said, rubbing your arm, making you smile.
"Yeah, and he doesn't shut up about you either!" You heard a female voice from behind his mum. Abbie.
"Y/n. I've heard so much about you," she said, grinning and offering a hug. "And you Abbie, and you," you smiled back, accepting the embrace and hugging her.

Inside, the 4 of you were sat in the kitchen, catching up over cups of tea and biscuits. "It's so great to see Blake with such a lovely girl. You'll be good for him, keep him grounded," Soulla said, a blush creeping over your cheeks.

"You look more like the superstar than Blake does, you're so pretty!" Abbie complimented. You felt overwhelmed by the welcoming arms of this family and couldn't wait to hopefully be a part of it in later life.

You were staying for lunch, and Soulla was cooking you a classic Greek lunch to welcome you into their family spirit. Plates of feta cheese and fancy lamb koftas littered the kitchen table, the delicious smell filling your nose in seconds.
"This looks and smells incredible, Soulla," you stated, eyes widening at the sight. "You can come here more often," she responded, taking a seat next to her daughter, while you were next to Blake.

"You know, y/n, if you're gonna be Blake's girlfriend, there's some things that are important to know," she said once you had insisted on helping Soulla with the dishes and had joined her and her brother on the sofas in the living room.
"Go ahead and tell me, embarrassing info could be key to winning any argument ever," you laughed, Blake giving you an evil stare from his seat.

"Right, so, Blake doesn't like it if you talk about him bum because when he was 7, he," she began. "NO! ABBIE SHE DOES NOT NEED TO KNOW!" Blake interrupted, covering your ears with his hands. "But I want to know," you pleaded, giving him that face that he could never resist.

"As much as I love you when you're doing that face, no. I am NOT telling you, and neither is Abbie, for that matter," he confirmed, crossing his arms with you in his chest, locked inside them.
Text me later, you mouthed to Abbie, winking. She nodded and winked back, Blake completely oblivious to the two of you.

That couldn't have gone any better.
