Chapter 5

Mayura's POV

Haah~ even though I know that I'm being treated in a palace, the pleasure of this spring is overwhelming, I love relaxation in a time like this but...... this is not the time to relax, is it? I still have to know the safety of my Mom or Rokuro, or the villagers. "Ah.... Mayu-chan?", Hime called out my name as I turned my gaze to her and smiled. "Yeah". "I didn't get to tell you my answer earlier, am I right?", she asked as I nodded my head in response. "You see, before that fire started. The villagers were evacuated by the western soldiers", she explained. "But that's impossible, I was at the village not too long before the fire started", I complained as she smiled. "What is impossible?", she asked me as answered it. "The thing is, the villagers can't be evacuated in such short amount of time unless....", I explained as she listened. "Unless you could stop time from moving, am I right?", she finished my explanation as I nodded my head. "Well, stop time is the one thing we, Goddesses can't do but..... their's one of us that can be of close to it", she continued. So it's true, they have positions and ranks of their own strengths. "The Goddess of Dignity, she's the fastest among all of us", she stated. "So its possible that she was there, at that moment and evacuate all the citizens in a second, no, I wouldn't say second but in a speed faster than sound", she smiled as I respond. "Demo.... does the Goddess of Dignity also make sure if there's someone in a distance away from the village?", I asked in fear. The last scenery I saw in that house was an abandoned-house-like, if my Mom haven't been evacuated by that Goddess then it's possible that she was taken captive by the Kegare and serves as their food. "Of course, she will, she doesn't like to lose anyone even though they didn't meet or talk, she won't ever forgive herself to let those monsters do whatever they want to humans, she cherished them deeply", she assured me as I smiled. And I heard Hime whispered something and I was pretty sure it says, " and so did me and the other two".

"Well, that's been taken care of, I'm going out now", she stood and walked through the door. In case you didn't know, we've been wearing towels! Before she could left, I asked her one more thing. "What about you!?". "Eh?", she reacted confused. "You said just now that the Goddess of Dignity is the fastest among all of you but what I'm asking is your position?", I asked and she smiled in response. "The Goddess of War, and the one known to be the Strongest", she then left the spring as I hurriedly followed her.

The spring was in Hime's room and one thing, I can say it is that....... ITS HUGE!!! "Follow me", she said as I did. Making our way around her gigantic room, we came to a stop at her clothing wardrobe.

She changed herself to her usual clothes and suddenly..... she picked out a couple of kimonos and other clothing. After a while, she managed to find one, cute as it is she handed me the clothing. "Here", she offered smiling. "For me?", I asked and she answered, "Yes". I quickly wear it and once I did, I, first I thought this would be tight and stiff but it's not! It was a soothing clothes for me. "I'm glad, it suits you well", she smiled as I looked at her confused. "You can keep it", she offered as I declined but she insists. I sighed in defeat, its a wonderful dress and all but it might be too much to give it away. "Its alright, I know it's a wonderful dress and that's why I wanted you to have it. And by your kind personality, this dress fits you well. It means "to protect" just like you", she smiled, am I really that kind of a person? I looked at a mirror to inspect myself as I smiled..... it suits me well, huh?

"Don't worry, it's not the last clothes you'll be getting from me", she assured me and smiled. "Right...", I answered. We smiled at each other, I've made a really really great friend.

Not long enough, a knocked came from the door.... I continued to look at my dress as Hime went to the door and answer for who is it

Hime's POV

"Come in", I offered and when the door opened, it revealed a fuchsia-haired guy currently serious just like always. I took a glance at Mayu-chan and what I see made me smirk. "Oh~ Shimon-kun, its you. What do you need?", I asked him as he approached with some papers. Oh no.... "Miku, told me that I will help you do your work on behalf of her absence but only to supervise you", he said as I stuttered to make an excuses. "I-I, y-you know, we uh-huh...... have guest!". He didn't mind my excuse and continued his explanation. "I'm going to put your papers here and I will be on my way to get some more". MIKU!?! why did you do this to me?!?! He then dragged me to my study room.

Miku's POV

Along the way of the clattering horses. "Achoo!", I sneezed. "Are you alright Miku-sama?", the aid ask me as I respond. "I'm fine". Is someone talking about me? Maybe this is the time that she knows my little revenge of doing her works. I smirked as I continued my journey.

Hime's POV

"Now, get to work", Shimon glared at me as I shivered and did my work. "Demo, if I work right now Mayu-chan needs help to be able to explore around the palace", I just got a great idea. "Leaving that aside, she can just si-", I cut him off and continued with a smirk. "Oh well, Shimon-kun~ you'll have to do it yourself since I got loads of work to do", I grin and he sighed in defeat. "Fine, I'll do it", he turned his way to who knows where as I spoke. "She's at the Clothing Wardrobe part of my room", I guided him with her whereabouts as I sighed. The sooner I finished my work, the sooner I can relax. Okay!!! I'm all fired of now.

Shimon's POV

I sighed again, she got a point out of me. I made my way to Hime's changing room. I knocked and wait for someone to open. And it did, showing a girl wearing a cute yukata? "Yes?", she asked as silence filled our atmosphere. I don't know why but after those words that she just said, she didn't even spoke another. Just like she was drawn to something that I can't tell. And we just stare at each other for moments and moments passing us. Well, one thing I can say to her is that she has the aura that I'm so familiar with, she's a strange person having the same aura as my sensei did........ My sensei did!!! Is she? No. It can't be possible, how come I didn't notice this before, Hime must have know it too, she's...... she's
