Chapter 9

Mayura's POV

Its been few days, since I got to stay on Hime's palace, and I'm a little happy for that... Ikaruga-san and my relationship have been progressing pretty well... Since that day that Hime announced that Ikaruga-san would be my Personal Guard and that he would never leave my side... I asked him a lot, if it's okay for him to do this and all he answer is 'by the order of my Goddess, I shall obey it' he is seriously not an open book...

He sighed and bringing me back to reality when I looked at him.. "What's wrong?". "Its seems we're out of fertilizer for the plants". Mind asking why did he asked that? Well... The reason why are our relationship is progressing great because I've been helping him to look after Hime's garden.. For about 5 days now and this is my fifth time helping him.. You could say that I always asked him for my help and he keeps refusing and I'll keep on interrupting him until he accepts... That's pretty much annoying for him to endure... I sighed. "Why don't we go out of town to buy one?". "Hmm... That's might be the case". He went walking out of the dome... "Hey! Where you going!?". "Changing... I'm going to town after all". I run up to him and smiled. "Can I come with?". "No, not without Hime's permission, you can't". "Heh~? I thought you aren't allowed to leave my side without Hime's permission". He stop walking.... Bingo! Bull's Eye, I got him cornered, now how are you going to escape it now, Ikaruga, Shimon. "That's not for you to decide". "Then I'll come with you". "I told you, not without Hime's permission, you can't". "That's not for Hime to decide my own decisions". A sighed left him and he continued to walk. "Be at the front gate in 10 minutes sharp, I'll be a little late".

We went our separate halls and I went to my room in silence.. "I grab my cloak that was hanging beside my bed and wear it.. Since I left my house without anything mind of clothing and food. I'm really forgetful sometimes.. I went out of my room and went to the front gate and as expected, Ikaruga-san wasn't there yet.. I leaned at one of the pillars while two soldiers Ade on guard for the entrance.. Sooner, Ikaruga-san, finally arrived, he puts both his hands to his pocket as he approached me.. "Let's go". I nodded my head and we exited the palace's front gate and wave farewell to the soldiers... We walked a bit until we reached a road... Not long enough.. A two horse with a large cargo carrying a lot of people stopped in front of us.. Or should I say a jeepney. I walked behind the cargo where the entrance is at... I took my first step on its ladder-like stair and noticed Ikaruga-san not moving a muscle, he's spacing out alright... "Ikaruga-san, are you not coming?". He looked at me and followed.. We sat on the wooden log-thingy couch-like, you know what I mean... Honestly, we both sat next to each other.. Quietly..and when the ride started, I looked at Ikaruga-san and he looked... Sick? "Ikaruga-san, are you alright?". He seems to noticed my voice and so he looked away. "I'm fine....". Well, his voice shows he's not alright. Not long enough, his skin turned pale.. "Ikaruga-san, your definitely not alright, are you sick?". He shook his head in denial and I thought about it. He doesn't look sick when we left the palace or when we walk to the road... It just started.... When the jeep started moving... Bingo! "Ikaruga-san....". He turned his head to look at me. "What?". "Are you perhaps having motion sickness?". He looked surprise or busted by my question and he quickly looked away.. "I don't know what your talking about". "Heh~". I shook him slowly, making him admit it.. "Stop that, your making me si-". He quickly covered his mouth when he almost spat it out. "Haa! You do have motion sickness". "Shut it!". I giggled and.. I came to realized that we were not the only passengers in the ride. The child sitting across us with his mother was looking  at us the whole time.. "Momma, those two are a couple, right?". He pointed at both me and Ikaruga-san. We both took a glance at each other, but when we looked at each others our gazes, we looked away quickly.. I tried to hide my blush with my cloak and Ikaruga-san with his cool personality. "Shh! You shouldn't spout things like that in Public". Luckily, the child's mother was able to stop his child from getting further.

When the jeepney arrived on the town, we set foot at once and looked for a shop of plants and fertilizers.. And luckily we came acrossed one..

Shimon's POV

We entered the shop and it was full of plants and fertilizers and other equipments related to it.. I grab for two stack of fertilizers at once and headed towards the counter as Otomi-san looked around the flower decorations. And that child is really so stupid for spouting that couple thing.. It was completely embarrassing for me and most of all Otomi-san cause she's the one who started teasing. I paid for the average amount of money for the fertilizer and exited the store while Otomi-san follows.. We walked back and I noticed Otomi-san looking around... And what caught my attention is that she was looking for one of the food stall. "Want something to eat?". I caught her attention when she looked at me surprised. "No need, I can't cover for myself". "Its alright, I'll pay for it". "Heh? Eh? N-no need, I'm not really hungry". Just then, a growled was heard from her and she blushed and looked away.. "Looks like  your stomach has a different opinion". I went to one of the stalls. "I'll buy 12 onigiri please". " Of course, young lad!" The owner started packing the onigiris as I waited for it. "You buying it for your fiancée or something?". " What are you talking about?". "I saw you talking with that girl over there, she's a hottie if you ask me, make sure to keep her well, you've got a good one after all". He handed me the packed onigiri and accepted it.. I turned around. "Actually, she is not my fiancèe or whatsoever, she is only a girl that I'm keeping a watch on". I walked away from the owner who was surprised but managed to say something. "But in my opinion, you two could make a good couple". Again!? With that couple nonsense. I sighed and left he owner walked towards Otomi-san who was waiting for me... I handed her the stack and she tried to refuse but in the, had just accept it. "Really, you shouldn't have bought me this, I have no way of repaying it after all...". "Don't mind the cost, be grateful and eat it". I started walking again. " Ikaruga-san, Arigatou". She followed me from behind, I took a glance at her and she was eating happily. I smile at the thought but something interrupted me.. "They're coming? What a surprise". "Eh? What you talking about?". "We better get home, I have a report to Hime which she will love". "Right~".
