-Your POV-

"Hurry Y/N, Ben and the guys are gonna be here any minute!" Beverly yelled from the other side of the bathroom door.

I awkwardly stumbled out of the bathroom with a little dress.
"Yeah, Yeah Cool your jets!"

Beverly stood there staring at me.

"Too much?" I pulled down the bottom of the dress.

Ok. I've worn a dress before, but this dress... this dress definitely demanded attention! It cinched in at all the right places and the color was just right. I loved the dress, it was me I was worried about.

"No, not at all. I like this! You look... spicy!" She motioned her hands over my curves.

"Ok, so I'm gonna take it off now!" I shook my head in regret.

I don't know why, but the idea of being "womanly" always made me feel uncomfortable. For some reason, I felt more comfortable covered up.

"No, no, no! You really look stunning. Honest!" She insisted.

"Really?" I turned around towards the mirror and took a look at my reflection.

I always hid behind my clothing, I guess it was because I felt comfortable being invisible. Any kind of attention scared me. I decided that I don't want to be invisible anymore. I need to step out of my bubble of familiarity and venture into new territories. Who knows? I might even like what I discover!

I turned back to Beverly to give her a hug. I closed my eyes and I took a deep breath.
"....Thanks Bev."

"Yay to body positivity!" She cheered.

I smiled.

"Now all the guys at the party aren't gonna be able to keep their paws off you!" She joked forming her hands into paw formation and softly scratching my arm.

"Please don't..." I complained

-Your POV-

Ben honked his horn, so Bev and I ran downstairs.

"Hey, gang!" I shouted as I slid open the door to Ben's van and positioned myself into a seat. I was met with an awkward silence and confused faces.

"What? Can't a girl wear a dress?" I sassed, was it really that big of a surprise?

"You just.... you look different. That's all" Stan disclosed cautiously, trying not to make me upset.

"That's kinda what I was going for, so thanks, I guess?" I gave him a slight smile.

"Well... you don't look too shabby either!" I looked out the car window.

"Thanks," He grinned

"Take us away Ben!" Beverly balled up Her fist, throwing it in the air.

Ben started his engine and we were on our way.

"I can't believe we're going to a party—and it's at the point!" Mike babbled on moving his hands excitedly.
"Have you ever been on the point?" He went on.
